Sacked

If we don’t go up, and the board agree with some on here that Hecky isn’t good enough, could we get him in?

He would probably have to drop into championship, commuting distance for him, proven ability to get teams out of the division and can work on a budget

If we do decide to change, and I’m on the fence till the end of the season, this could be a sliding doors moment for the next 10 years in Blades history

And this has what to do with United? Call the thread police
🚓🚓🚓🚓🚓🚓🚓

Might sound a bit radical but we could get him in if we manage to win the play offs. Nothing against Hecky, and he could walk into another decent job on the back of his time at the Lane, but I reckon we'd have more chance of staying up under Dyche.

Errrrr….

Also, if we don’t persist with Hecky, who out there is better??

Never had as Ginner as manager at Bramall Lane. DO NOT want a Ginner here now in charge of MY TEAM! Bouncer jobs available !

Why would he? He'll get more money elsewhere.

Ince based on todays shit show

Even if we did get rid of Hecky if we don’t get promoted (which we won’t & shouldn’t), there is no way Dyche is coming here, I think he’ll have more attractive options than us.

I mean, even combining my like of Dyche with the taste of today's serving of shitery still very fresh, that would be one of the most cuntish things United could ever do. Absolutely count me out. Cunt move

Agreed that it would be a twattish thing to do, but that doesn't mean that a manager who achieves promotion should always be first choice to lead the team in a higher division. In hindsight, when we went up to the PL in 2006 we might have been wiser getting rid of Warnock in favour of a manager with proven PL success. Hecky is less experienced than Warnock and has never managed in the PL.

It's academic now anyway because we aren't going to win the Play Offs and even Guadiola wouldn't be able to keep us up if we did.

Deserves a Premier League or Old Firm job - worth waiting for. Feel like he could be a star in the MLS as well - would already be a very recognised face over there from years as a Prem manager.

He will be waiting for the right sort of job.
Good chance a PL club if they struggle might think about him next season or of course a top end Champ club making a poor start next season.

I can see him going back to Watford if they start slowly possibly.
Stranger things could happen and he could be back in the Burnley hotseat too but the moves they have made recently make me think they might be OK.

Agree on Watford. They’ll invariably sack whoever the hell their manager is now, within a few months.

Lives in Nottingham, knows the local area from his Spireite days. If Selles goes he’d have enough about him to get us up the league. Knows Ings and Mee very well from his Burnley days.

Dyche would only ever come in as an interim, you might as well have kept Wilder if that’s the sort of manager you want to recruit.

There’s a reason he’s been out of work for three years.
