There was a rumour (purpotrated by El Accounto but still) that Lowe was on 30k a week in the Prem.

Even with a relegation wage drop ( I'm not as sure as others that the newer players signed have them) that's a daft wage to pay a rotational WB.

He's doing well at Forest, was awful here. Let him go, maybe swap him for a player who hasn't worked out for them?

Seen forest a number of times on the Box when they are on it they are very very good
Today being a prime example the lad Spence is a proper wing back
Yeah I thought that, Spence was great against us and by all accounts has been outstanding since.
I know Boro have already got a decent RWB, but to leave Spence at at a rival seems a strange decision.

My mate is a Forest fan, I text him last night and he said "there's something special happening at Forest, I just hope no one takes the manager off us".

My response was along the lines of "you might go up, then it will all turn to shit and you'll end up back where you belong with a load of expensive shite and no money left, with the manager on his bike for embarrassing himself in the PL". He didn't text back.
They don't need to worry about Cooper being poached by another club. If they don't go up then he'll be sacked like the other 48 managers they've had in the last 10 seasons!

I see your mate is as high on the smell of Florist's farts as my mates. Believing that they're relevant and the rest of English football still views them as a huge club. I've got a few level headed Florist supporting mates, but a lot I've met are just deluded and living in the past. They talk like they're still in the Premier League and are still champions of Europe.

It's funny that they mock Derby for their current situation when they've exploited FFP through their links to Olympiakos, and they've also had embargoes put on them for breaching FFP through overspending.

They are one of the more annoying sets of supporters. He was taking the piss out of Watford last week for having 6 managers since they last kept a PL clean sheet and I said "how many have Forest had since they kept a PL clean sheet?". Silence.

I always wind them up saying that Forest invented modern football and have won loads of trophies, just that no one under 50 knows about any of them.

Read somewhere else that it was £15k a week, which appears more likely.

The report I saw was he was on £30k in the PL, reduced now. I actually think you're more likely right and he's on a flat 15k a week with no relegation drop

They are relevant.
If they got promoted there'd be a big song and dance about it like when Leeds finally got back.
We didn't get that kind of media attention and i doubt Wednesday or Derby would if they got back to the PL either.

£30k in the PL, 50% wage drop on relegation taking it to £15k now as it was mentioned that it's standard for our contracts to reduce on relegation. I'd be astounded if we didn't insist on that clause.

Would you? I wouldn't be astounded if, with how desperate the club were in the summer of 2020 they agreed to anything

Especially because nobody seemed to actually be in charge

I think we all had high hopes for Norrington Davies & expected Stevens to return to his Championship form.

I wouldn’t say we had a bad start to the season because we didn’t have Lowe. Stevens & RND are probably better than most championship teams have in that position, I’m pretty content with that position.

Isn't Jack Robinsons preferred position LWB as well ?

I agree with this, they are the Leeds of the Midlands. About as likeable as Leeds as well.

No he came through as a leftback at Liverpool but I’ve not seen him demonstrate the pace, passing ability or crossing to play leftwingback.

He could play leftback I think in a 4 but he wouldn’t offer the attacking output we want from our wingbacks. It would also cause us issue defensively as Robinson to play as high up the pitch as we put out wingbacks I’m not sure he has ability to get back in time

i agree, he needs to go, along with fleck. we've progressed beyond them now, no time for sentiment
I agree that we can let them go but I’m not sure we have progressed in the purest sense but I get what you mean … they just don’t seem to offer what they once did and they haven’t for a long time

I'm sure he has NO ability ... roll on May!
