Getting anything out of this would be good going.

Well I'm tempted to have a little bet on this one..... will it happen or wont it!?

Fingers crossed - want some pre Christmas footie!

I'd settle for a draw and play a 5-3-2 with a flat midfield three of Norwood, Hourihane and Berge, with Didsy and Gibbs-White up top.

Didsy plays the link up man role well and MGW is the only player we have who creates chances for himself and runs at the players with the ball, so playing him up top might work and allow us to keep the midfield tight in front of the back three.

Other than that our best chance of scoring is set pieces, so we need Hourihane as Norwood's are still bloody awful.

If the game is postponed will this thread become a collector's item?

These haven't won for a couple games have they like bournemouth? Up step Sheffield United

First train on my journey to Fulham a no show. I'm part of the cancel culture - wah! 😭 Good job I was setting off unnecessarily early anyway. 😄

The team are on the 0937 Sheffield to St Pancras. As, obvs, are the Carrier Bag Firm.

... and then on to a coach, or a fleet of taxis? Will they be going straight to a hotel or doing some Christmas shopping in the West End?
?The CBF? we'll be getting the tube to our London HQ. Going to see Mark Gattis in A Christmas Carol, A Ghost Story later in the week (restrictions permitting)

In the late 50s/early 60s it was not unusual for supporters (as we were called at the time) to travel on the same train as the players, to places like Bristol. What was astonishing was that a club official bought the ‘cheap day return tickets’ with the rest of us, and it was usually less than 20 - 11 players, 1 spare just in case, manager trainer, a couple of officials and directors, and that was it. We used to pray that Hodgy would not twist his ankle getting off the train. Though I did fancy being the youngest ever goalkeeper in football history…
