Big Sam is more likely than Chris I’m afraid, he’ll still be considered a safer pair of hands.Burnley's owners are US investors who have saddled the club with debt. Their decisions will be based solely on Premier League survival. Wilder would be a major risk to them. They'd be much more comfortable trying to get a proven commodity.
Still think Chris to Sunderland ticks all the boxes. After us (due to the affinity) it’s his best chance to build something which could survive at PL level.
