Agreed, it doesn’t look like the website of a company that has a few million quid to blow on sponsoring a Premier League club’s shirt.

Maybe that’s the issue, we got close to signing the deal and it turns out they ain’t got a pot to piss in!

I was joking with that comment, but to be honest, this is United and with our history nothing would surprise me!

Think this whole summer is a case study in how to disengage a white hot consumer base.

After the success of promotion, then season ticket sales - our marketing dept should have been all over us like a cheap suit with deals for this, offers for that, and milking us and our success for every last drop.

Instead, radio silence....

Looking at the club the people who actually run the club day to day are the best we’ve had ever in my memory. Just by looking around the club with regards to deals in the shop and the stuff we have been doing for kids plus. And the medial stuff we now do . Just compare us to Wednesday and how they act with regards to the fans

You can't just slap a sponsor on the shirts in the Premier League, it has to be in line with their regulations.
The design will have been knocked back and forth in order to make everybody happy - the club, the sponsor, the PL.

If that is indeed the sponsor, then it's clear why it's taking so long to get ready. That won't go on the shirt with the text in that WordArt shite

If you notice, all of the sponsors in the Prem have words that are clearly legible. The current text in their logo won't stand out in shadowed yellow/gold. It will probably have a border around it too.
