Oh, and the box is even worse than a plain back, it looks absolutely ridiculous.
Fine in the '60's pal when Woody were banging 'em in.

With UEFA banning it, I wonder if having a solid back but striped front has anything to do with confusing the opposition. I might be reading into it too much, but I was thinking on Saturday that it's hard to get used to, almost like having two strips depending on whether the players is facing you or has his back turned.
So although it's not a big hit with fans, it might well be for performance gain rather than to sell shirts.
You being serious?
Did Villa think there were double the players on the pitch because of this? I imagine they were looking for Claret shirts and anything that wasn't Claret, was clearly not their teammate
Check out the UEFA equipment regulations, page 18 article 8. It mentions colours not being too distinctive from the main theme of the kit

Me too - just getting used to it. As for the 125 year shit shirt repro.I have never disliked it as much as many do on here. I get the objection to the white back, but overall I think it looks quite smart and is something different.
What is the latest ruling on striped cardigans with numbers on the back?Never mind winters nearly here, at least we can wear an open cardigan to hide the plain white back(and door deals). Unfortunately the players can’t
TBF it did look at times that we had more players on the pitch than them, but I put this down to our excellent movement around the ball. You being serious?

its the same width stripe front as currie and woodward woreThis seasons home shirt is worse than the red pin stripe.
When they turn around it looks like we've surended ....
You been at the Sam Migel fridge again btl? I know that, but they're not the same on the feckin back are they?its the same width stripe front as currie and woodward wore
Sabella had a much fatter stripe. Fact! Hammond had a very thin one.its the same width stripe front as currie and woodward wore
I also noticed a villa player without a number on the back of his shirt.Watched Sky's highlights of the Villa match and it took a few seconds to register that the white shirts were us attacking Villa's goal. Not good.
He had it on right from the start of the game aswell, it wasn't like he changed into it part way through the game. Wonder what the reason for it was?I also noticed a villa player without a number on the back of his shirt.
So no one could rate how shit he was?He had it on right from the start of the game aswell, it wasn't like he changed into it part way through the game. Wonder what the reason for it was?
Pretty rubbish plan when he had a big fuck off beard unless of course it was a false one and Jedinak wasn’t actually painfully crap after allSo no one could rate how shit he was?
Could be, but the BBC didnt rate the players by beard trim. Shame they didn't could have been Villas man of the match for face hair.Pretty rubbish plan when he had a big fuck off beard unless of course it was a false one and Jedinak wasn’t actually painfully crap after all

Hate to see a good team in a crap kit.

I’m about 50-50 with the shirt.I have never disliked it as much as many do on here. I get the objection to the white back, but overall I think it looks quite smart and is something different.
