I think many of us can see the weaknesses and have seen it since early this year. This hasn’t been rectified and a return to League 1 is concerning me at least. Maybe I’m the only one. So no I won’t get a grip as there is not really anything to grip on to in my opinion. I’ll never be vocal about it at a match and it is important no one is, although that is impossible to stop.

Maybe it’s remembering the recent “dark days” that’s striking fear into the hearts of all Blades and provoking this reaction amongst the fanbase. No one wants the club to fail, no one wants another spell in L1...but, no one should be ammune to criticism based purely on past achievements. It would be wrong to blindly follow and support the club if its following a negative course. This downward trajectory didn’t start two games ago, it began during the second half of last season and fans are correct to raise their concerns. I don’t think anyone is seriously calling for Wilder’s head but it would be nice if the club could provide some clarification on what the plan is for the season ahead and what transfer policy was in place during this window. From what I’ve seen, we don’t appear to have a plan...worrying times for Blades
