I am sacrificing our cat to the football gods that Duffy, Fleck, Leon and Donaldson don’t pick up any injuries or suspensions for the game on the 12th.

Genuinely would have not played any of them today or next week.

It's just another game on the 12th.....ask Robson.

That’s an original thought. Tufty quite clearly disagrees. Jake’s time is done and you Shakey Jakies really must come to terms with it.

That reminds me

He wouldn't get a mention if he had no United connections. He's a complete nonentity.

Bladey Bladey Claptrap. It never changes. Sack a manager with a proven record of success after less than a season and bring in a former Blade on the back of 15 years of not much.

Only in S2.....

It might be for silly Bladey Blades. The rest of the football community would look at his CV and beg to differ.

Nonentity. Fucking Bladey Bladey Nonentity. Read and learn.

Why are we so ineffectual from corners with so many decent sized lads in there?

We used to be known for our set pieces not so long ago.

It’s a miracle how O’Connell avoids scoring from them.

Dare I say it, but we’ve made a decent start in terms of being along the lines . Both wingbacks getting a lot of joy down their respective flanks – Stevens has been in behind twice already.

And as I write that, we give away a needless penalty. Urgh.

We had been playing fine, up to then, we make our own problems

They hadn't created one opportunity for themselves the entire half, then that...

Almost gifted them another goal there with a shocking ball back into the area from Duffy that goes straight to their striker in full flow. We are creating all of our own problems here.

That Baldock error aside I think there’s been little in this between the sides. They had one Vydra breakaway that he hit wide – we had one Donaldson break that was saved. Other than that I think we’ve got into better areas of the pitch, but the delivery has been poor again.

It was a even half, just that dumbass mistake from baldock cost us so far. We have had plenty of the game and a few corners, but not really threatened.

Been much the better team without any real cutting edge.
Hard to tell who the home team is here.
Derby had a couple of speedy breaks but that’s it.
Needless and maybe slightly dodgy pen.

3 main points
Are we the home team, how are we losing, and how are Derby second.

Watching United is quite frustrating at the minute, we have everything in place but lack 1 thing, and that's ambition in the board room to push for that extra bit of quality...come on Mcabe we have a golden opportunity here.

Blades best team by a mile, very unlucky to be loosing, really happy with the performance except for that clinical final pass and finish. Got around the back of the Derby defence on 2 or 3 occasions but the ball across just would not fall for us. Only criticism is we seem reluctant to shoot? Don’t know why?

results have plummeted since the spine of the team was changed.
no Blackman, No Jake, no Coutts.... the only one that absolutely HAD to be changed was Coutts, so why not keep with what was working and successful?

In my opinion i would start Blackman all day long ahead of Moore, simply because he can come for the high crosses with his height--whereas Moore is rooted half the time. that breeds confidence in your defence when they know they have that weapon to help them
Jake has to come in for the old head reading the trouble and i would move Bash upfor some midfield tempo and aggression instead of "crab" Lundstram. he is too predicable and sideways is just killing the breakaways we get

whilst CW's hands seem to be tied as to what he might spend, this is without doubt relegation form at the moment

thank God we only need 4 or 5 more wins to see us safe for this season

Baldock is a good player but he has that tendency to do something stupid/desperate at times .

We're by far the better side. Hopefully if we get an early goal in the second half we could win this.

BTW last time we had this Ref Mr Basildon Bond was the Hull game we were losing to a soft goal at HT............we all know what happened in the 2nd half.

There's definitely a point in this (at least). Shot ourselves in the foot yet again, but playing well here.

Really you would drop Lundstram who has been one of our better players recently? You would rather have Basham running about in the midfield? I despair sometimes.
