Living in Bristol, a typical hone game costs me just over £200 in diesel and a hotel room. I am now finished until August next year at best.

totally unacceptable comments from wilder we were well beaten by a very very average side why cant he just admit it how he can continue playing peck when he should have been benched at least 4 games ago and playing mcguinness and not tanganga at centre back is unbelievable add to that the totally negative tactic of 1 striker at home you can see campbell is totally pissed off being up there on his own i was a big big chris wilder fan first time round and advocated for his appointment on this site but its just not going to work 3rd time around yes selles was the wrong appointment but for me we need a younger more progressive and positive manager to come in otherwise we going down with the pigs utb ftp

I am sorry to say this team have lost confidence. Only Callum Ohare played well against Derby yesterday; we can't defend and played poorly in midfield and upfront. the players. Peck's mistake sums it up for me. Some of the players looked knackered in the second half, I dont think Campbell is anywhere near fit; he hurt his back in the first half. I was surprised he stated the second half. We are not playing like a Chris Wilder team. Can he get them going? It does not seem He can. Okay, the Board sacked Him, brought in Selles, who had no idea whatsoever. Then, quite rightly in my humble opinion, the owners reappointed Chris Wilder to correct the massive mistake they made.A lot of players came in, but Bindon and Barry are not good enough, Cannon same. I hope we can improve ASAP before the transfer window opens in January.Otherwise we will be struggling at the wrong end of the championship.

Not one to over react…..always prefer balance and level headed thinking

But a few (normally sensible types) around me on the Kop were saying…..for the 1st time this season we had a look of a relegation team.
Yeh…..we dominated “general” play…..looked great in the centre circle area…..had a lot of attacks….but yet again we never looked like scoring.
Peck was typical of our play….to be fair he generally looks good on the ball..but it’s sideways…sideways…back pass…sideways…sideways.
The problem is no one was making runs and there was a visible lack of belief regards scoring a goal.

1st half: the only players who looked good/ up to standard were O’Hare and probably Brookes….both lively and trying to score.

Derby did her old “park the bus” routine and relied on the break.
Great tactics because from the start it looked like it would work….we all said the Derby game was so similar to other home games.
So my issue is that it’s not a surprise….what is Wilder doing to break down teams who defend in numbers?

2nd half: the only player who looked good was O’Hare….full of energy and trying to make things happen. Also thought Ryan One was decent too.

We all discussed our problems on Saturday and the consensus was our owners have naevely used a scatter gun approach to buy decent quality/ good investment players…..then said to the coach…..”you have some good players….now form a team”.

However this is back to front…..A manager should decide their system and tactics for the season….then choose the players to fit that system.
For example Wilder had always generally had a big lump striker….to use as a tactic against physically weak opposition defences but we don’t have one.

We still don’t think we’ll be relegated but it’s no longer a rediculous thought.
The concern was we seemed to lack leaders on Saturday against a really basic Derby side.
