The Lundstram haters.

Lundstram is class. I do feel he's more of a Fleck replacement than a Coutts though. He's box to box and likes a shot

Excellent again today. Besides the goal, I love how eager he is to be on the ball, always wants it. Just needs to iron out some of the sloppiness from his overall play, sometimes he looks a wee bit casual in possession.

He's looked a different player last 2 games
Still not the finished article but shaping up nicely
Think I wrote him off as a championship standard player about 3 games ago
Shows what I know

Guy ont radio said Fleck straight in for Lunny hahaha Gior lad!

He was fine against a poor team, he did give the ball away a few times first half though

Well , he did. I want him to do well, like all our players.but he wasn't as good as at villa. Duffy was MOM as I saw it. Each to there own

To think Lundstrum is still only 23 and playing at this level for the first time. He's learning on the job .Coutts Duffy and Fleck have all done it before. Lundstrum was tarred with a too negative brush .utterly falsely.
He's driving us forward and is starting to even shoot at goal now. Wilder brought him in as he can see his ability. We need to accept Chris knows his stuff. Well a lot more than some of our fans

The big factor regards Lundstrum was

At Oxford he was their main player playing central attacking midfield.
At United there are other players with more attacking responsibility and Lunny was asked to play defensive midfield.

Without Coutts and Fleck all of a sudden Lundstrum is our massive focal point.

Fortunately he’s stood up to the plate and showing he’s capable.

Let’s remember he’s still young so there’s plenty of room for improvement
And I predict he’ll become a top player.

Gonna throw this into the mix- coutts has recently come into arguably the form of his life and we all love him for it, asking lundstram to fill coutts’ shoes is an impossible task but I see improvement all the time... with patience and games I think he could be a very good player

Whether he get it with fleck back soon is another issue

And yet you don't comment and how Duffy kept giving the ball away in the first half !

He did. And he faded in the second half. Good game overall but not convinced he’s Championship quality.

Lundstram gave it away 8 times in the game. The majority in the first half. He scored a goal. He declined two other good shooting opportunities. He neshed one tackle. He made four wrong decisions leading us to retreat. You may think that I am being over critical, but quite frankly since his introduction and the late arrival leg and arm waving performances he has improved immeasurably. Today, despite the above I could consider he was worthy of a place and looked an asset.
