The view from the cartilagefreecaptain
built like a brick s—thouse. 6 feet tall and 200 lb, he’s not
tall per se but has a low centre of gravity that makes him very difficult to dislodge from the ball. He’s also incredibly strong and uses that strength to his advantage when defending. Cameron also knows how to put a tackle in and is not afraid of using that size of his to his advantage by knocking attackers out of the way.

A good read and a bit of a mixed bag - especially spurs fans in the comments section.
Dropped a few bollocks pre season against PSG and Roma has turned a few against him.

'He’s got to carry a lot of weight for his height, as a result he’s pretty slow and gets skinned a lot; it’s why he dives in so much. I can’t see him improving much more at his current size.
I think his mental reading of the game is slow, which makes him look slower than he actually is.
Needs to grows another 2-3 inches and stop diving in so much, top quality attackers will go past him far to easy if he dives in,
A loan makes way too much sense
He needs to be playing every game. His football skills are fine, but he needs to get experience and improve his positioning and decision making – the stuff that can only happen with game time against real adults.
He needs to go to a team in the upper half of the championship or even at the top of league two. Somewhere where they play attacking football and where he will be an automatic name on the teamsheet.
CCV is a long project, and we may not see him be starting level for another 3 or 4 years let, but prospects (and defensive ones especially) take time and patience.

Shows that Wilder is trusted by top PL mangers (Jose and now Pot) to bring along their best youngsters, which can only be good for us.
