Tbh we have been fuckin shocking tonight. 3 now. Moore couldn't catch a cold tonight. Came for crosses and didn't get anywhere near them. Defence has stood off them and not marked up. Wing backs haven't attacked and been poor witb their crossing. Midfield has been off the pace and forwards have just stood about and not put their defence under any pressure at all.

Utd have been utter bollox tonight (even taking into consideration that Wolves are a good side). Weve made them look like world beaters tonight and not even competed. That's the pisser. I can take getting beat but when we look disinterested and don't compete then that's an unacceptable performance.

Wolves are quality to be fair and have made us look like a team of League 1 players......oh wait....

Wtf was Moore thinking haha

You gotta laugh

Ok we are losing 3-0 but what is worrying me is CW team selection, ok what do I know but this performance is F**kin sh*t.

People have been saying we will finish around 10th... well... 10 points out of 36 - looking like relegation form to me.

Lack of confidence and pace going forward in the last few weeks. Our passing is dreadful and decision making at times is awful. There's only baldock that drives on. Too many players have dropped off recently. What has happened to Enda Stevens, he's offered nothing for a while now.

Lafferty should have ayed tonight instead of Stevens, but like Basham and Clarke they are seemingly undroppable. I'm a huge Wilder fan but he is getting this wrong at the moment imho.

Agreed, not sure how Stevens keeps the shirt.

Wolves are good. Very good! But we’ve given them too much space and time tonight. Trouble is, they’re good enough to utilize it. And some!

1st goal - worldie. 2nd goal - brilliant touch play between the 2. 3rd goal deflection. When said like that it doesn’t sound the walkover it has been. But let’s face it here, Wolves are a premier league side in all but name.

I saw someone on here earlier say ‘McCabe, make your decision’ (regards investment). A reply was ‘the window is shut’. True. But I think the broader question needs asking of him. We can’t spend circa £3m a season on players (if that) and expect to compete with the current top 6, some of whom have spent treble that on individuals. We are punching big time. We have some good players, but Wolves, Villa, Derby, Fulham - have VERY good players.

We haven’t been in this game whatsoever tonight. Men against boys, princes vs paupers, Kings vs knaves.

This season has gone from one of optimistic ambition (I personally said top 10), to one of frustrated resignation (we simply don’t have the staying power).

Coutts is a big miss and who knows what may have been with him still playing? We’ve won just 2 games since he’s been injured (Sunderland and Norwich). I’m not resigning myself to missing out on the play-offs but we won’t go up. We are so far behind the top 6 in terms of quality it is frightening.

It’s disappointing to see us turned over so meekly like we have been tonight but credit to Wolves. They’re a very good side.

Wolves are a class above. Let’s move on and try and get back on track.

Agreed. Not taking too much from this result in honesty. We're at a team running away with the league on their own patch. I wasn't annoyed at the first two goals as i thought it was excellent stuff by Wolves.

Terrible performance, outclassed all over the park. This is not the Blades we’ve grown used to.
Wolves look classy. You’ve still got to build a team but it’s obvious you need a hundred million Chinese quids and a blind eye to FFP rules to succeed now.

I get that Wolves are a good side but that second half was so poor. We offered absolutely zero going forward tonight, just hopeless balls over the top towards the corner flags, mis-placed passes and a general lack of any kind of tempo. The slight worry was they looked so devoid of confidence at the end then.

Moore - Atrocious
Baldock - Didn't do a lot
Basham - Headless chicken
Stearman - Isolated
O'Connell - Ordinary
Stevens - Non entity
Evans - Not tight enough
Holmes - Half decent
Fleck - Poor (very poor by his own standards)
Clarke - Non-existent
Wilson - Faded very early

Eastwood - Did alright
Donaldson/Leonard - Didn't really get a chance to do owt

Wilder - Bad substitutions again, tactics put no pressure on the ball

Wolves - Very good, but far too easy for them

I'm not sure there's a single player who could complain if they got dropped after that on-performance
