that's only speculation and assumption though......
Fuck me this is going in circles... I don’t know where I’ve said Wilder never complained and moaned whilst he was employed. They parted company, thus should be the end of any squabble. The Prince tried carrying it on publicly. Wilder hasn’t. Simples. You accused PA of petty point scoring where it can be argued that CW was doing this whilst he was still employed by the club as his mates were as well. PA was responding to comments made
Started posting 3 days ago and chucking insults about telling people what to post , just joined or were you previously another alias ?Man-baby resorts to calling other blade a pig. Grow up you child.
Nice words to reflect on his time here although it feels a little bit like that statement been heavily vetted by the LMA's legal and PR departments before it was released.
Thanks for the memories, for getting us out the shit and getting us somewhere we'd never expect to be but a statement along the lines of "performances and results this season haven't been what we've come to expect over the past 4 years and despite the efforts of myself, the staff and the team, we're sorry that we couldn't emulate the success we've become accustomed to" would have been nice.
Wilder just did it for the last 3 months he was working but as I've said above, it's the past, it doesn't bloody matter, let it go.Fuck me this is going in circles... I don’t know where I’ve said Wilder never complained and moaned whilst he was employed. They parted company, thus should be the end of any squabble. The Prince tried carrying it on publicly. Wilder hasn’t. Simples.
As Pedro Verde says he will have probably signed an NDA as part of his severance terms. Its a common practice in football management jobs when there is parting of the ways before a contract expires. Both parties will have agreed the terms on which CW left, a compromise agreement. Standard confidentiality terms should as a minimum include the manner of leaving and actual amounts due and over what time period. In addition CW's contract of employment would have required commercial confidentiality and reputational clauses that should read across to the NDA if the lawyers are earning their money. For example the Club may want to keep information on players buy out clauses confidential. It has also in the past not been uncommon for Clubs to insist that the departing manager does not return to buy their players for a period of time. Why is he bound by an NDA ?
Do you realise how much flak the prince will have taken since wilder walked ?Fuck me this is going in circles... I don’t know where I’ve said Wilder never complained and moaned whilst he was employed. They parted company, thus should be the end of any squabble. The Prince tried carrying it on publicly. Wilder hasn’t. Simples.
At the risk of perpetuating this futile argument - how do you know he did nothing wrong?Do you realise how much flak the prince will have taken since wilder walked ?
If you were getting peters from every direction when you had done nothing wrong wouldn’t you have come out and tried to put the record straight?
A clause referring to the Official Secrets Act continued for some time after.
Because it's his business and he can do what he likes (within legal boundaries)? At the risk of perpetuating this futile argument - how do you know he did nothing wrong?
So you couldn't disclose where the Queen was sending the 100th birthday and 60th Anniversary cards to?Geez thats brought back memories, believe it or not I had to sign that when I joined Royal Mail in the late 80's I remember it because it was on navy blue paper so it could not be photocopied. Still dont understandf why I had to sign it.
Well I don’t know where to start with that tripe - so I won’t.Because it's his business and he can do what he likes (within legal boundaries)?
Talk’s cheap Chingo, didn’t you learn that with McCabe? If he’s getting pelters now, it’s going to nowt compared with what he’ll get if we don’t get back up.Do you realise how much flak the prince will have taken since wilder walked ?
If you were getting pelters from every direction when you had done nothing wrong wouldn’t you have come out and tried to put the record straight?
Let what go?Wilder just did it for the last 3 months he was working but as I've said above, it's the past, it doesn't bloody matter, let it go.
The future is tomorrow
But if the prince had said something untrue or something liable to harm wilders future employment anywhere in his statement would wilder be allowed to then speak out ?As Pedro Verde says he will have probably signed an NDA as part of his severance terms.
NDA's are always weighted in favour of the employer as they would be to ensure competitors do not gain commercial advantage. If there was a £15 million buy out of CW's contract, as referred to by the Prince, then the Board will have wanted to ensure CW did not walk into another job and the new Club avoid paying the buy out. For that reason the severance is likely to extend over a period of time firstly to prevent the above scenario arising and secondly to provide financial protection in the event of CW finding a new job within the agreed time frame. In essence if he gets a new job within 3 months then the severance payments stop. That doesn't mean to say that other confidentiality clauses would cease on new employment being secured. In my own work I was once tied to an NDA for 12 months before I received my pay off. A clause referring to the Official Secrets Act continued for some time after.
The fact issues appear to have been carrying on 48 hours after the news first broke of CW's departure indicates it was the construction of the terms of the NDA that was the matter being considered.
You don’t like him, I get it.Do you realise how much flak the prince will have taken since wilder walked ?

It’s a wishful narrative. The idea that Wilder is a twat who jumped ship supports the idea that PA is a good guy who knows what he’s doing. The alternative is that Wilder may have had good reasons for walking and that PA may be an egotist who thinks he knows more about football than he really does, which indicates we could be in the shit again. He is entitled to legal advice, he’d be daft not to take it.
What’s nice is that he’s not stirred the pot, unless people want to interpret his statement to fit their agenda. He recognises the input of the fans in the ground, which l’d say is totally heartfelt and not some Colinesque PR comment.
l’m disappointed how it ended, sorry he’s not here next season and can’t see where the nastiness from some people comes from.
Didn't love us enough to finish what he started. He should have put up with the owners until the end of the season then resigned.
Fuck him and his lapdog called Wit.
The Prince has carried nothing on he can't legally do that or CW would have him and the same if it was the other way round, I cant see where there is a squabble.Fuck me this is going in circles... I don’t know where I’ve said Wilder never complained and moaned whilst he was employed. They parted company, thus should be the end of any squabble. The Prince tried carrying it on publicly. Christ !! Hope your third sentence is inaccurate.
We don’t know the full story, we don’t know the full truth so it’s easier just to believe in what makes you feel comfortable.
Geez thats brought back memories, believe it or not I had to sign that when I joined Royal Mail in the late 80's I remember it because it was on navy blue paper so it could not be photocopied. Still dont understand why I had to sign it.
So do I mate, so do I.Christ !! Hope your third sentence is inaccurate.

You haven't met enough of our fans then.
Because as said elsewhere if anything had been wrong in the princes statement the LMA would have said so instead of today’s copy and paste manager leaving statementAt the risk of perpetuating this futile argument - how do you know he did nothing wrong?
