Because its strong opinions
There are a few on here who can't accept people have a different opinion. They then goad others into being abusive, they are also abusive themselves, call others 'pigs' and seem to have an uncanny knack of jumping on an argument one of their gang has started, even if they have not appeared on the chat thread previously. It's pathetic, but sadly the way some 'adults' are. The forum will turn into an echo chamber, new members like me will piss off, and quite rightly. I'm going nowhere, i've dealt with much worse on other social media platforms, but plenty will just think fck it.

Exactly ignore those I got called out for asking how long we had got in January abuse etc those people know who they are and won't admit I could have been right

Another forum weirdo! Explain why I am a so called pig. Go on sausage, troll through my posts and give me some evidence. There's a good lad. I suggest the ones giving abuse for no reason are the pigs, trying to stir shite up. I also suggest the mods do their jobs and sort out said forum weirdo's. Or you could PM me and have a debate in private and stop trying to show off in front of the other forum weirdo's. Your shout.
Weirdo.

Yeah, I really have nothing better to do than provide you with a summary. Actually, the comments fitted in well with his pre-match “we can’t be expected to go toe to toe with any other team in the PL” comments, which ignored the fact that he spent more money that most of them.
"We can't be expected to go toe to toe with any other team in PL" could be aimed at the players.

I have never heard him criticise the board in any interview.

Ok 👍.
Don’t hesitate to get back with any examples of the constant slagging of of the board.

It was his indirect digs at the club.

His last month of pressers were him going on about "The plan" and constantly talking about our spending in relation to other clubs. He was bringing it all up at nearly every pre and post match presser. I am not talking about the ones the club put out on YouTube either, I am talking about the full 30 or so minute press conferences.

I think what really brought it all to ahead was when he talked about Brewster in a bit of detail saying "It was group decision to go for Rhian." on the eve of the Villa match.

I’ve read all your posts and you are defo a pig. And weirder than Mr Weird of Weirdtown. Get help. 🐷
Was going to suggest the same to you. Or should I address it to one of your other accounts? 🤔 Anyway can't be arsed with dildo's like you anymore, it's both boring and concerning at the same time. Away you fck with your other precious little snowflake mates who can't have a discussion without abusing someone for having a different opinion.

Hark at Ten Men Dave 🤣

100%, the way some people are on here is bizarre. I'm sure it would be completely different sat in the boozer having a pint...

You know what, as a lad standing on the kop, it felt like being a blade was being part of a crew. Home and away during the bassett days, all I experienced was fckin great banter. Over the years the atmosphere seemed to get more toxic, or maybe I just noticed it more as I got older? Blades fighting each other at games, kicking off etc. Then social media turned up and lets us see that being a blade isnt that special feeling we had as a kid, it isnt a band of brothers...at least on this forum it isnt. Such a shame.

PM me of you want to be a cnut. Goodnight.and see you on the other threads.

Seeing a lot of this "best we've ever had and will ever have [so I'm not really bothered now]" shit on the social medias, What's that about? Is that how these people go about their day to day life?

The first part is arguable over the club's entire history, though he's definitely the best we've had in recent times, but the pathetic pining and sorrow I can't understand.

I mean, my favourite crisps were Louisiana BBQ Phileas Fogg, best crisps I ever had. They don't make them anymore but I still eat crisps.

Do they go to a fancy restaurant, have the best meal they've ever had and will ever have and then die of starvation a few weeks later?

Things come to an end, it happens, deal with it in your own time, but there's no need to piss on everyone else's chips because Sheffield United has the temerity to continue to exist without Wilder at the helm.

Some proper tiny violin shit that'll do more damage than Wilder going if it continues to split the fanbase.

Considering the last 12 months we were hardly prime candidates for success even if he stayed. Assuming we don't get a truly awful manager, I honestly feel new ideas would trump past glories next season.

If the long missing connection and bond between club and supporters we had under wilder can be equated to missing a favourite bag of crisps then I’m afraid you just won’t understand the impact of recent events on a significant section of blades.

You would be better served trying to understand this than trivialising and denigrating it. But it seems that you just don’t get it. Too bad - and I don’t say that as an insult, if you don’t feel that then it’s a shame, but it’s not your fault.

Maybe we will achieve that connection again in the future but it was a long time coming and very quick to crumble into acrimony and bitterness.

Sadly in many eyes wilder has gone from hero to villain. I understand that although I don’t agree with it. But the bond between club, staff and supporters stretching back over many years of ups and downs and reaching its high water mark under wilder is not as banal as enjoying or missing a bag of crisps.

It's Walkers ready salted for me - thankfully in plentiful supply. The fact that my favourite ice cream is vanilla too probably speaks volumes about me.

As supporters, we shouldn't need the extremely rare event of having a local and Blade as manager to have a good bond with the club. It helped rebuild the bond after everyone got so disillusioned, but it's not a requirement, as far as I know, Jürgen Klopp wasn't born In Bootle for example.

Just means fans have to work harder to support people currently at the club and those coming in rather than long for the days Wilder was here that are likely never coming back.

I don't get it I suppose, in that I don't understand the misery mindset. I've seen us do more under Wilder than I've seen us do in the other 20+ years I remember, so I was gutted when he went like everyone else, didn't want him to go at all despite this season's shitshow, and I was looking forward to seeing how next season would go.

He's gone though, and I'm quite looking forward to seeing a new chapter and where it takes us, that's not to say anything against the Chris Wilder chapter, I'm sure it'll be one of the best in my lifetime, especially seeing it with my Dad who's in his 70s now, but at the end of the day he for whatever reasons didn't do a very good job this season and didn't continue.

He's not dead, he's just not our manager anymore, so a bit of humour with a crisp anology on a football forum that skews daft seemed alright by me.

Plenty more crisps in the shop.

Agree. Had the pleasure of going home and away with my young son, who had to endure Adkins and all before him. We had some amazing times we will never forget, like being behing the goal for Leon's 4 goals v Hull, MK Dons away, Billy's last min goal at home to Derby...too.many to mention. Will always appreciate Wilder for what he did for us. But we need to move on. But hey, to some idiots on here I'm a pig for saying that 🤣🤣
