Wilder not happy

I agree with Sir Chris , he sees it as we do
Good , bad or indifferent , I thought after not taking our chances we'd let them cunts win ,
I thought we gave the ball away all to often in the second half , and invited them on to us ,
However when we calmed fucking down , put our foot on the ball we played ourselves
back into the game and the game was there for the taking , and we took it
First half we played them off the park , and could have been 3 or 4 up
Did we get lucky today piggies

I thought the Leeds midfield were quick, fit and closed down well, Wilder called it.

Up to the lads to respond.

Fair play.

Bit of truth - We were poor for 1st half of 2nd half (ahain). I say poor. Leeds changed it (like other teams have) we waited to see the effect (again). For that period our passing went astray, as I did for a period against ipswich. That said Wilder was just keeping feet on the ground. That probably the most critical he's been after a win. We went top. That is no coincidence. That is management. "Im not taking about league I'm talking about tonight".

This right now is brilliant. Wilder was on the wind up tonight. I saw a glint in his eye saying. "This is how you give any interview Carlos". Watch it back he's deffo thinking "these pigs will wish they had someone like me".

Well fucking done Blades. I love you.

The twitter feed on this site wasn't working and so I was left to read the comments on the Shoutbox to have any idea of how the game was going. The vast majority of comments in that second half, were saying that 'we had lost our shape', 'we were giving the ball away too easily' etc etc.

So Wilder only said what a lot on here were saying.

I was disappointed at half time so if Chris can make me feel like he does now, carry on son, you're doin' alreight.

I feel :D

Wilder was bang on we should have been 2 or 3 up by HT.
Weeds fans must cringe if they listened to his post match poor sods .
They beat us in our muck pile and Wilder says I'm not happy not a good performance from us.Haha Take that from a pub team.
Well done Wilder!

Fleck and Coutts were the main culprits which was a big shock but i never felt like they created much from those opportunities- the 7 pints probably helped but f*ck it, WE ARE IN DREAMLAND!!!!!!! UTBssssss

We did get sloppy 2nd half and gave it away more than at any other time so far this year, Leeds got on top for 20 mins when they stopped Stevens And Baldock bombing on but we sorted it out and overall deserved the win even if it was our worst display but if that’s the worst Coutts And Fleck are going to play this year we’ll be alright UTB

Well the game should have been buried after 30 mins so CW is right to make the point at a time where it will stick in the players minds better to make point after a win than a defeat. a good point about the diving and cheating from Leeds who I thought were a set of dirty cunts in the end, they tried every trick in the book to get the win but were beaten by a better side. That said I thought they offered more than the pigs.

Resulting in six bookings. Does that mean we get a fine?

I agree with Wilder, we were no where near as good as we have been this season. At times we struggled to string 5 passed together and resorted to a lot hoofing.
A lot of 50/50s we lost when usually we would win. Basic passing was bad and often inaccurate.

I thought it was a bad performance from us and Leeds could have won, we did well to win.

Cant understand how some people think that was the best performance of the season. I saw it as one of the worst if not THE worst of the season.

I can bet you that Wilder didn't give a second thought to a lower half Championship team :)

Actually I think one of our real strong points is when we lose the ball, most times it results in a throwing to us.

We are very strong at that.

I think CW got it spot on. Coutts and others gave the ballaway too many times .O`Connell chose the wrong option a few times. Baldock was on his heels ball watching when they scored. These mistakes will cost us when we play better teams than Leeds. However lots to like as well. Keep going you wonderful, mighty Blades.

I felt they were playing a good pressing game and could've easily drawn and we would have not too many complaints. Our defence were superb, and Brooks made a hard chance look easy.
What was that free kick about with the wall behind our wall? Otherwise I thought Wilder had it spot on. I was sat with two Wednesdayites in the Grindstone Crookes. come in 'cos they are also footie fans. They thought we played really well.

Haven't seen the interview but I was saying we were giving the ball away cheaply all second half. Players weren't passing it enough and when high up the pitch, losing the ball just after the supporting centre back has overlapped was suicidal at times.

Must do better at keeping the ball away from home

And their manager was at it

Nice dig CW thought interview was spot on
I’m inclined to agree that we uncharacteristicly gave the ball away on too many occasions, not like us at all.
Don’t give a fuck though cos we are TOP OF THE LEAGUE!

Whisper it but there is a touch of Clough (senior) about Chris I can remember him laying into Forest after a crucial win. The bottom line is CW was correct tonight for 20 minutes or so they made it uncomfortable for us and we didn't have the composure we needed. Also loved the way he responded to the question about the foul on Baldock.

How fucking good is this. We've beat Leeds away and gine top of league and were criticising (rightly so) our passing.

Fucking magic

Quote from a pig who has not had his best night.

"1-1 against run of play hope it finishes as a draw best result for us"
