I can see your point but for me it just raises more questions and concerns about next season.
On one hand I think it’s good Wilder has a plan for next season and the players apparently know where they stand, however… the squad that’s been at his disposal is better than the results we’ve turned out and that is a concern for next season.
It seems unlikely that we’ll have some of the ‘key’ players from this season and will again have to wheel and deal, and based on the last few years, I’m not confident we’ll have a squad anywhere near strong enough to compete.
The final third of the season (and perhaps beyond) has been woeful, and much of that has been down to tactics.
