Is anyone condoning this shit? Is anyone thinking we've learned anything in this game?

Michael Skubala
A name on most people’s shopping lists but we can’t offer him anything more than the project he is already developing, recently signed an extended deal too so would need a fee. Plus paying off Wilder, currently is it worth considering bringing in a DoF and promoting one of the coaches within the coaching staff to head coach

Thing is at Lincoln, everything in the background runs smoothly with DoF etc, it's not just down to Skubala. Same can't be said at Lane. Mousinho at Pompey would be a shout also though.

Honestly can't see it getting much better with Wilder at helm next season in all honesty.

Just need a pre season mate 👍

The Board might not have a choice when they lose 2000-3000 season ticket holders and the stadium is half empty by 70 minutes most weeks.

Another successful pay-off for the Messiah from 'Club Stupido', though.

Enjoy.

The reason to go for me is the simple fact that we’ve made awful teams look like prime Brazil.

Yes, you can point to weaker players, but surely to god it’s not a massive ask for them to do the basics well. Tell them, get out there and defend defend defend, forgot tactics go back to basics. I find it hard to believe that the players are THAT shit they can’t do that right?

Blackburns third, their winger had plenty of time on the ball, unchallenged, and managed to pick a pass to an unchallenged scorer. Mcguiness didn’t even move.

Their second, Davies saved two shots, defenders not just asleep but basically unaware of the need to move towards the ball.

Wilder is feeding something down that’s either not going through or is being good. HIS team look unmotivated, uncomfortable and unable to do the basics right.

If we keep Wilder for start of next season we'll get relegated. But it won't be him who takes us down cos he'll abandon ship again.

Please COH just SACK HIM NOW.

On one side I get the get rid arguments and based on since October with the squad we have had available we should have been at least playoffs we gave away too many cheap goals and lost too many leads. Tonight you could tell the players have booked their summer holidays and Blackburn had something to play for they knew a win tonight and they are guaranteed survival but it doesn’t make it better we don’t get a 2 game home match discount because they have nothing to play for. Need to give their heads a wobble and get them into preseason early for hill reps

Based on tonight yes. Based on this season. No.

For a squad like ours that has lost 30 points from winning positions what do you base the success of the season on? If it is survival we are setting ourselves a low bar, that has been a goal in the Premier League every time we have been there. Tonight Blackburn had something to play for we didn’t however those 30 dropped points puts us in 2nd well clear and if in theory that would have happened if we would have won tonight that would have promoted us automatically. I know I am talking this that and the other but realistically Wilder has been terrible this season and the club need to look long term strategies as to how they get rid of his pre Covid legacy that he is clinging on too.

I can see your point but for me it just raises more questions and concerns about next season.

On one hand I think it’s good Wilder has a plan for next season and the players apparently know where they stand, however… the squad that’s been at his disposal is better than the results we’ve turned out and that is a concern for next season.

It seems unlikely that we’ll have some of the ‘key’ players from this season and will again have to wheel and deal, and based on the last few years, I’m not confident we’ll have a squad anywhere near strong enough to compete.

The final third of the season (and perhaps beyond) has been woeful, and much of that has been down to tactics.

Why do we need a pre season under Chris .Our players can’t play for 90 minutes anymore so why give him another one
