I'd rather give Wilder another 10 years than have that prick back.Warnock for playoffs then recruit in Summer

Surely you don't believe that?It won’t bother wilder if he gets the sack, another big payday, now he’s signed a new contract.
Stop playing RobinsonHe is a man manager and he rallies a team of lads together and no doubt the majority get on with him, but is that enough?
I think he is becoming a little exposed due to the quality of certain players that we have in this squad. There is no arguing that we should be doing better with the quality that we have, but we aren’t!
Where do you go now?
That was my thinking too but I wonder if bringing in someone now would give them a few games to get to know the players before we get to the Play Offs.We have to stick with him for now because replacing him at this stage of the season would be suicide, but I do think we should replace him after the playoffs (whatever the result).
That obviously won't happen of course, it he wins the playoffs he'll be here next year. Assuming that happens (which is far from assured), next year will be a long, long season.
Don’t take away what he’s done to get us here - however.
getting beers in and been one of lads can motivate players
You then need the tactical nouse to get them over the line

Whatever happens I would like to see someone with a modicum of football intelligence appointed in June
We had a great first XI back then but the fact Rankine could justifiably get a game once McCall picked up a knock shows how little depth that squad had. At least if Souza or Peck get injured we have respectable options. As long as he doesn’t start Mark Rankine.
Let’s be right, the fans are currently split between those who saw the change of ownership as an opportunity to move the club forward in a progressive way and those who cling to a comfort blanket at all costs. A comfort blanket that is smeared with shit, but still a comfort blanket. That’s where we are today.
Completely agreeJust drove past Lane, locksmiths van int car park.
Decision to bring him back was always wrong, he said what everyone wanted to hear about learning his lesson about being a control freak etc and promised to be more team than ‘me’ centric.
Love the guy as a player, loved him for lower leagues but he is not and never will be better than an average old school championship L1 manager.
Hands up anyone who would still give him a shot if we get to PL via play offs cause you’ve given the Wilder out bedwetters some lip this season.
We were also led to believe Chris had humbled and changed. If anything he has got worse since his first spell.
No real tactics, no ideas.
History should be left exactly where it is. In the past. And not all of us viewed the return through rose tinted glasses. In the poll on here at the time the majority didn’t want him back. He was tolerated, but never fully trusted, by many. The reaction over the last week was always going to happen at some point, which is why it was a huge mistake to bring him back. The trouble is we've all been in love with the history with Chris we've all been looking at him with our hearts and through rose coloured glasses. (I'm as guilty of this as anyone)
I didn’t want him back at the time. For this exact reason, and so it has come to pass.Completely agree

Honestly thinking with the head he shouldn't have been left in charge after last season , some of the football this season has absolutely been turgid at times but he's got away with it because we've sneaked positive results, we've probably got the 3rd best squad in the championship but I just feel we could have played a bit more expansive football .
Yes souttar and ollie was a absolutely crippling loss but to bring in holding and not use him is criminal what moments he's had he's shown he's a good defender who does the job quietly and efficiently.
Wilder has a issue with players he hasn't signed his stubbornness will have cost us autos
Hopefully the owners have someone already lined up, it's a large part of American business strategy that they have a "long " list of replacements ready for key staffHistory should be left exactly where it is. Bladey parochial bollocks wins out over logic every time with our supporters though. With the odd exception I’ve never known a more backwards looking fan base.History should be left exactly where it is. In the past. And not all of us viewed the return through rose tinted glasses. Where the Wilder 2 leg semi and shits himself against MiddlesbroughWhere's the the 'Wilder can take us to Wembley, shit himself and lose to Sunderland' option?
For me Wilder has to stay until the end of the season although playoffs are looking more likely now there is still opportunities elsewhere. If he fails in playoffs under the new ownership it will be interesting to see where they take the club as I can see Wilder gone along with a clear out. Next season will be about rebuilding under whoever is brought in. Realistically if we go up this season we are down the following season and I fully expect Leeds and Burnley will be too, with whoever gets through in the playoffs. Although the Premier League is the “promised land” it’s not great for us as a low profile football club in that league in the international market.
