Who would you prefer IF we got to the final?

Told you your memory was better than mine. I appreciate that detail often gets forgotten, so well done for nudging me, and well done Fulham too....knew my birthplace had something going for it. They're one of those...what did Cloughie call us? A proper football club, although I suspect all the Premiership luggage has changed it significantly since the days when I watched Johnnie Haynes play for 'em.....but then it was the visit of United with Jones and Birchenall upfront that changed my football affections forever. Who woulda thunk it?

Do you think Fulham may have done this with a pang of conscience? Not their fault I know and it should have been Liverpool who had the conscience pang, as it was Liverpool who put out the reserves against them. Or would Fulham gain from prize money if West Ham lost the four points they should have been deducted via precedent? and which ultimately was the reason we won the damages.
Either way before it was clear which of the three clubs Fulham Wigan and Ourselves was going to be affected it was Dave Whelan who fought the hardest and brought in McCabe and AlFayad. Admittedly Wigan left it after they were safe but still supported via words.

Yes. That was their 'cause of action' as I believe lawyers call it.

Someone seriously wants Arsenal in a final. On the slide? Wengers last game? Has everyone been listening to too much Adrian Durham on Talk White Van?

Wigan because we have a better chance of beating them. This is of course making the huge leap that we beat Hull first. And I don't think we will.

Arsenal are now under huge pressure to win this competition, where as no one would expect anything of us. So if given the choice, its the nervy Gunners for me.

I see your reasoning, but a nervy Arsenal is still far more dangerous proposition than an in form Wigan.

But were not their yet, we still have a very tough game against Hull. But if we do win this, I would take anybody in the final, just getting their is enough for me.
