In my opinion, the SUFC squad needed a large insertion of quality - a root and branch reform of the squad. We started the season with only two Adkins' signings (Woolford and Sharp) and a squad that was without its best player(Murphy) and biggest money signing (Brayford) - due to long term injury. With this backdrop I predicted a finish between fifth and twelfth this season. So, with my appraisal of what was needed (1x experienced first choice goalkeeper, 2x centre halfs, 2 x centre mids, 1x target man, 1 x winger) I'm happy that the manager is llving up to my expectations. My question to you is: what do you think we needed, and is our league position commensurate with us obtaining/ not obtaining them.
