I know im going to get some stick for saying this but i went to bed at 8 o clock last night

I had a 4am start and ive been doing a lot of exercise lately but even still i never thought i would see the day when the blades are on live on the telly and i dont want to watch it

Was a time i would have moved mountains to see us play

Only reason i posted it is because im still in shock about it myself like i cant make sense of it and what it means in the grander scheme of things

Anyway ,fire away be a few people lining up to have a pop at me about it so do your worst

Not me, I felt the same. I've not even got the reason of having to get up early. I just didn't feel like watching us get dry humped on national TV. So I probably deserve the pelters more than you. not that I give a fuck to be honest, making sure our lass is ok as she goes through her Cancer treatment (she gets to choose the TV) takes precedence over watching a group of twats who mostly don't give a shite.

Hey Judge, don't be circumspect about it. If you need to tell us then you do exactly that.

Then there were 500 plus Blades fans at the ground yesterday. You like me will admire their resilience and commitment.

The good times will come when you just have to stay up but you will probably have retired by then:)

I was playing a pool match away at barrys bar on London Road, caught the odd glimpse and what I saw was truly awful. I've not seen much of the blades this season, and deadbat said last night wasn't the worst he'd seen this term-if that's right, then all you poor souls that pay your hard earned on that shower need a medal.
A pathetic team, a clueless yes man as manager, a bleak looking future, and a chairman that doesn't give a toss.
Not be long till the cricket season starts.

I take my hat off to anyone who went to the game. What a waste of time, but fairplay for the commitment to the blades.

You not on your own Judge, these spineless twats are making a lot of loyal fans feel like that, fuck what anyone else thinks mate, you do what suits you, thats what my philosophy ;)

If they don't give a shit why should we? Known you long enough to know you aren't anything other than 100 percent blade. You just have the same shit feelings about every game we all have now.

to be fair theres only so much torture anyone can take
watching us was like being water boarded last night

seeing us be so ineffectual is soul destroying, I kept looking for Martin Peters last night

I was at work so didn't watch it either. I recall last season I was working for a Sky TV game and I went to ridiculous lengths to try and get the time off to watch. I didn't even bother asking anyone to swap my shift for last night. In fact I didn't even look at the score till mid way through the second half

This isnt something I say with any pride. I actually came home, looked on here and felt sad in a way that I hadn't even tried to watch the game when even 12 months ago I would have cancelled almost anything to watch a Blades game. I look back at the home games I've missed this season and the fact I haven't been to an away game with real sadness too. I love the club but can't stand seeing it in this state. Its beyond heartbreaking. Its like watching someone you still love call you a naïve twat to everyone she meets as she explains she's been sleeping with your best mate who himself is laughing at you and calling you a gullible prick. Or something like that

Sounds like you doing a good job looking after your missus my friend, best wishes to you both

I only half watched it while I was pottering about doing jobs round the house. Sad fucking times.

I haven't been able to make it over this season , ( job problems ) .
So I've been reading with interest the comments of fans who've been going on a regular basis .
I have to say , after watching the whole game last night , and being told to calm down by junior, and being told ,
told ya they where shit.
Where would you start , the back 3 !!! , to slow selling each other short with hospital passes across the back .
Something you tell schoolboy soccer players not to do , and when a corner needs clearing , kick the fucking ball out don't pass it back to the opposition on the edge of the box .
The midfield, what midfield, Hammond and Couuttts , give me a fucking break .
Attack , OK but need to learn when to pass and when to shoot , and let's be right if sharp had scored at 1-1 each
we would have probably won it .
I had high hopes when Adkins was installed as manager , but fuck me my patience is close to breaking.
That team look fit for the beach , fucking cleethorpes .
couldn't believe some of the passes , lack of thought , lack of urgency, lack of passion, lack of belief , lack of guile,
I've had 24 hours to calm down , I couldn't post after the game , I'd have probably been reported for personal
abuse on some of those " players "
A fucking joke , fair play to the Blades who went down , felt for you as I've made that long trip down there ,
a couple of times .
As always UTB .

I was more annoyed last night by the £7.60 for two coffees and two choc bars at the services on the way home. Nightlight robbery.

There was a time when you could take a girl to the cinema, enjoy a fish and chip supper, a few drinks and the bus home for less than that.

There were 750 fans turn up, myself included we lost but the away fans are great, its just so much fun. I left Southend at 11.00pm and arrived home at 10.30am today I was so tired I had to sleep in the services on a few times. The journey was 340 miles one way. Never mind Walsall this Saturday.

I arrived back home yesterday lunchtime after a long journey back from Japan. Fell asleep at 1700 and then woke at about 2100 to read a few texts from my mates, was supposed to go to eccy road to watch it. Glad I missed it, not shocked or surprised that I'm not that bothered. It's been a wank season

Just what is this 100 per cent Blade? What does absence of being that mean you are deficient in?

plus 20 woodbine and a Burton suit

Fans who dont care about the match or the result? Other than serious domestic matters, well.... Thats just less than 100%.

I listened to it from the start (because I'm a mug) but only realised halfway through the first half that it was on TV. Sadly, I then decided to watch it. It sounds a lot better on radio!

That means a lot, thank you. Truth is I feel hopelessly inadequate. However, the Docs remain hopeful and the thing about her that has always driven me bonkers (her stubbornness) is the quality she is now going to need the most. She's handling it better than I am!

Ah yes the joys of Motorway Services, where even Greggs is more expensive.

judge don't feel bad m8, I've just decided for the first time in 50 years it's not worth going tomorrow :(.

Got a skip coming to my sons and will spend all weekend with radio digging his garden out.

I never thought I would miss a home game by choice.:(:(:(

Good news is the lying two hats will announce to the rest of you that I am sat in my ST seat.

Anyone wanna have a go? I am renewing though, this (hopefully) is a one off.

and mars bars were bigger back then

in the 60s you could go to a match have a meal go the cinema get a taxi home for 7 quid

I did something I have never, ever done before in my life I placed a small wager for the Blades to lose. Shameful I know but I might as well get a small benefit from us doing what we all know we will do.

We're in a dark place at the moment but need to believe we will come out of this. How? I don't now.
