Looking at the table and current form I think it's now quite likely that we'll play them in the semis. 3rd v 6th. I'd rather play anyone else but still think we could beat them over two legs. UTB

It's very unlikely they'll make the play-offs, they're on a decent run at the moment (tho most of that run has been against teams near the bottom and the better teams they've played, us and Derby for eg, they've dropped points) but they'll have a dip at some point, especially with the teams they've got left to play. Personally, I hope they keep having a sniff of the play-offs (obviously without getting into them) for the games against Leeds and Norwich. If that's the case they'll give it a go against those two, if they aren't in with a shout they'll defo not be arsed with doing us a favour. I'm hoping Villa do the same as they still have Leeds and Norwich to play.

They've been averaging about 2 pts a game since Bruce has taken over, if they carry on with that til the end of the season (and with the teams they've got left to play I'd be really surprised if they did) they'll end up with about 70 which usually isn't enough to make the play offs.

1. Wednesday have been doing well since we sacked Luhakuy, not since Bruce took over.

2. It is utter b0llox to suggest that when that run is 15 matches that we haven’t played anybody decent. All four of the current play off teams have been played for a start, losing none of them.

Caught a bit of FH in the car earlier and was unfortunate enough to hear the Pitsmoor Pillhead and his declaration that 'if Bruce had been in charge from the start of the season we would be in the top 2, no doubt'

I presume that he was followed up by other deluded truffle hunters later on the show to back him up?

I bet not one of them has considered the possibility that several of their overpaid tossers have contracts running out and may have realised that now is a good time to put themselves in the shop window. In any case they have an agents dream with Chanser and Bruce at the helm, if they do have any money left next season you can almost guarantee getting an inflated rate out of those two.

Just listening to FH on catch-up. Some Blade was on about his annoyance with Blades leaving early (his issue was that the team deserved that applause from everyone at the death). Mark says “I don’t leave early. I either applaud them off or give them abuse”
