Not sure if I like this or not, the idea of an 8th place team potentially (albeit unlikely) getting promoted to the Prem seems a bit daft.

Although I can see the plus size of it from a money point of view, less dead rubbers towards end of season with more teams having a chance to get into playoffs and then obviously more playoff games to shove on the telly as well.
