We wanted it tonight!

Not sure Wilder will see it like that.

Second half nobody wanted the ball. Was a hot potato, reverting to twat it anywhere from the 50th min onwards.

Not sure I saw it that way. Thought we kept the ball well, was just the last 10 minutes where we started to lump it. Was always going to be that way as well with Middlesbrough putting more pressure on

What game was you watching?
Maybe for the last 10 minutes, but played them off the park for the majority of the second half.

Clearly not the same one as you.

Thought the contrasts between the halves couldn't have been any greater. As was mentioned above...the goal completely changed the game.

What a great win for us!!!.
We've finally managed to see a game out instead of conceding a 92nd minute goal!!.
This could give the lads the confidence boost they need.
Roll on Saturday!!. COYRAWW

how many games we got p robbed out playing teams
lets accept hannging on against 10 men as a sign our lucks turned at last

for god sakes enjoy the win, we deserve this and the next 4

Not sure if you were at the game but you need to face the pitch. It does help. What do you expect from a multi million pound team, that we're gonna be on top all the game. Sending offs either go for you or against, normally for us it's against. As for the substitutes, I guess you're a more knowledgeable manager than Wilder, maybe he should look you up and ask for your advice. Back to the pint.

Saturday another huge one....

I think it will be less stressful than tonight.

Great first half, nutcase second half.

Pulis is the luckiest hoof merchant around to keep getting those sort of budgets to work with.

I'm not sure we were the ones who wanted it more second half.....

I have no idea why we can only do it in bits. Whether it's a half or shorter spells. Fitness, maybe. We were raggedy and sloppy second half. I was fearing the worst towards the end.

We need to do better against Millwall. Win against Millwall though, and I'll think it's possible (and the hope will kill me).

If we didn't concede so early then we would have had a party second half. Liked the fact that Wilder changed it and stuck Bash and JOC on Brit, Wright was getting ragged all ore place.

You have to give Boro credit for the changes and effort second half, they negated our spare man with the way they played and had a good go. They aren't mugs, that said, we could have managed it a bit better, but a good win is a good win.

Totally dominant first half, but we panicked after the goal. The game management just wasn’t right. We neither tried to kill them off nor kept it right. The midfield three kept bombing forward and doing fuck all, leaving us short at the back.

Boro didn’t create much but it was far too nervy at the end.

First half was up there with the best we've played this season.
Boro couldn't cope, and they new that.
Pulis pushed them up in the 2nd and we found it harder to play .

Yeah that second half didn't do my blood pressure any good!, the three players they brought on all had pace. Still, we had enough to win it, and it could have been a bigger score line, but not to be. I'll take 3 points every game from now to season end.

Not holding on the lead against Cardiff and Barnsley in the past two games will cost us.

Agreed the 2nd half was diabolical, we can be thankful they had a man sent off.
