Reported to be on £25k a week and for a player of that experience he did well when he was fit the problem we had was the other defenders around him he was covering both CB positions at times and RB too when Tanga was played at RB and was found out of position and being the age he is he naturally lost pace. He for me has been one of the better free signings. He definitely did his part in assisting

Chong and Matos are the sort of players that either newly promoted or relegated to L1 clubs often look at, where you're looking for a potential bargain who might not cost too much.

Maybe someone like Oxford (if they go down), Lincoln, Cardiff and potentially Bolton.

Wages will be the problem, those clubs will not want go anywhere near what we are paying them
we'll have to come to some arrangement on their contracts

I wonder if CW is thinking that he isn’t going to be here next season so doesn’t see the point in playing him rather than trying to win games this season but not 100% sure

Isn't he the kind of player who we should be transitioning through to being a coach? Don't we need some kind of veteran leadership to get stuck into the likes of Seriki, Peck, Brooks when they have a bad game/get too cocky?

Or is that he issue - Wilder is the only one allowed to do that these days?
