I know he's probably out of our reach, but just seen he's apparently available for around £10-12m with Bournemouth and West Ham interested.

CDM destroyer with plenty of Prem and Champions League experience would be a steal at that price in today's market (although will be on very high wages)

Could CW tempt them with a loan deal with a view/obligation to buy should we stay up?

Am I living on cloud cuckoo?

Available on loan from Spurs according to the Evening Standard. Would fill that defensive midfield spot nicely, would need Spurs to sub his wages but he couldn't be the 'big name' could he ?

I await a barrage of 'no' answers...very unlikely admittedly but this window has surprised the @@@@ out of.me already and one last surprise.would cap it off nicely !

Would love it if this happened. Apparently Wolves are in for him and Celtic are interested who he's played for before. You never know though

I think he'll be out of our reach and others more likely - well you did ask! I just get a feeling that the lad from Watford we were linked with will be the most likely - Nathaniel Chabolah. Didn't realise he's already played for England but he's born in Sierra Leone and if he signs would be the second player we've had that could have played for Sierra Leone - unless there's more I don't realise. Who's the first? Sorry - I'm a bit of a sad lad!

Yes you are mate. Chris Kamara

in that case we've had 2 previous players who were eligible for SL. Wikipedia says Kabba was asked and turned down the opportunity to play for them.

Could make sense off the back of Wilder's comments about other deals triggering a chain reaction. Lo Celso looks to be done for Spurs so could be a goer. They might even pay some of his wages (although doubtful if Levy negotiates personally).

Go get him in January. Perfect replacement for Norwood in the centre of the 3 midfielders.
Apart from the fact that Wanyama has nowhere near the ability of Norwood and would be a extremely negative addition to the team. 🤷‍♂️ (but a good squad player though)
