I've got "worth a risk on a free" but "absolutely dire on the wing", and thats from today.

Going back to when the rumours first started and it's about them being glad to see the back of him, calling him lazy and him just being useless

Well let's hope CW knows more than your pal who thinks it's all hilarious then.

My SCFC supporting pals are certainly more in the CW camp on this one (think he will potentially be a real asset for SUFC). They don't think losing him from SCFC is hilarious either. Proofs in the pudding though so let's remember this one and revisit it later in the season 😉

No they're not but if anyone was expecting every signing this summer, based on the size of the rebuild needed, to be universally accepted then they're living in cloud cuckoo land.

Or just haven't been following where we are as a club at the moment!
Personally I'd rather see more of Marsh. Oné even, but if Wilder wants experience and feels we need more players then I don't mind it at all.

To be fair to him, the Stoke fans aren't unanimous in their dismay at losing him on their forum or social media.
Loads saying he's injury prone, inconsistent, not able to hold it up, not able to run in behind, not a great finisher etc.

There may well be a talent in there but it's a gamble giving him a three year deal.

I'm happy with the signing as I think he brings something a bit different, but I'm hoping we see him mainly as a rotation / option off the bench.

Sounds like Coventry fans when we got Fleck 😀😀😀

Hes got pace. Not a CF ,certently not a loan striker. Hell add something we lack, pace out wide on counter. We do have youngsters but can't rely on them week in week out. Main thing is to get a team that function . Think that's much better than a week ago. Therese still a long way till window closes things may change

We still need bodies and this seems like a low risk option, gets us some more power and pace at the top if the pitch in a season where rotation might be key if we are going for high press style tactics

Think he would be a very smart signing. I'm all for this one. 24 years old too, so still a pup. Sprinkle a bit of Wilder magic to get him enthused and we might just have a potential gem on our hands. The lad has the pedigree.
Could Chris sprinkle some Brewster's way

I think he's in America with Palace
I get all the excitement hype about we've gone out and finally got some players .let's be honest it should a been expected we just come down with parachute payments and tv monies e.c.t others clubs around us are still pretty much spending more or about the same on fees good signing just think should a been expected

Club just looking through Roy's View From now before making a final decision
It sounds daft, but just think how many millions of pounds in bad buys could have been saved by a little research like Roy does. I can't think of an example where a player with negative reviews on Roy's View (not just mixed reviews like Fleck) has come good for us.

The views of fans are often based on emotion and not intelligence or facts.

How many times have you read on here “player X is rubbish because he doesn’t run around aimlessly” completely ignoring the fact that the very same player is actually quite good at football.

Why would a professional scout/coach take that on board?
