He's been in an underachiving side. On paper Stoke had a strong side a year ago but it didn't work out. A new challenge in a new side might just be what he needs. These type signings are impossible to predict. Didzy or Morrison or somewhere on between. At 24 it could easily be a good move.

Could definitely be a good move for him, a fresh start at a new club to try and restart his career.

Stoke fans have been less than complimentary. Apparently he's injury prone, a poor finisher and on a fairly large wage for the Championship. I fear he'll just take up a space that could have been given to one of our promising youngsters.

Hampson, Marsh and Oné don't deserve to lose an opportunity to a squad filler like this fella.
Yes we need bodies and yes he's technically 'free' but the 3 I've mentioned might not get loan moves and would rely on cup games and sub appearances, why take that from them?

Personally I'd rather pass on signings like this guy and go with what we've got ! I've never been a fan of squad fillers I always think a signing should always be equivalent or better than we have !

Good forward player of a decent age on a free transfer… it’s a no brainer as far as I’m concerned.
Campbell, Cooper, Rak attack and I think this has been a great window!

Boyes needs selling, he's 22. We've just signed McCallum and burrows, we also have RND maybe. He won't play for us.

Think it’s likely to be Sachdev loan, Sasnaukas 21’s until at least January probably for another year and Boyes moved on.

Who are our promising young strikers? We've sold them all & I'm not sure Marsh is anywhere near ready for top end championship football. Hackford struggled at Burton.

If Wilder thinks he can get a tune out of his & we're saving a transfer fee then it might be a decent & cost effective deal

For some reason, I always thought he would sign for United. Some players just seem to be SUFC players in waiting and he is one (Kieffer Moore being another).

From what I read from Stoke fans, besides the ACL injury he had he's not injury prone. Not sure how accurate Transfermarkt is for injuries, but this is what they have for Campbell:
