Our players need to get used to the new rules quick sharp.

Ok so shirt pull them another foul taking McBurnie out by the same player has to be a yellow. Can't just be allowed to keep fouling him.

Strong start but we faded and allowed Tottenham to take control of the game. Shame as we looked really good in possession at the start. we started doing simple but quick 1 touch balls but started losing the ball when we started going long after sitting back too much some aimless/ desperate hollywood balls have lost us possession when we had an opportunity to grow back into the game. Hamer needs to chill a little bit with some of his passing. I like that he’s so positive but he’s also been a bit careless today as a lot of his balls have gone to oppo and a couple about 30yards from a team mate.

Defensively we have have been a mixed bag. Allowed players to have a bit too much space and at times they have just drifted past our players without a challenge or effort. Souza in particular i’ve seen jog next to players whilst they line up shots. Can’t be doing that. We have good structure but again i think we are showing them a bit too much respect.

If we try and defend like we have for the next 45 i feel they will score. Need to try and hold the ball a bit more and have more control on the game. If we mirror our first 10/20 mins in the 2nd half we might get something out of game.

0-0 against one of the best teams in the league is a decent place to be though.

Basham has never been afraid of getting a card, he goes in early and for the fouls he has given a way, he's made some great challenges and swept up pretty well.

We have to start play acting and asking the ref to card players. It’s beyond a joke how we get easy cards and opposition doesn’t. One of the main reasons is they are moaning at the ref for anything at all and just minor touches and they are screaming at the ref. Where as we don’t go down, don’t roll about, don't play act, don’t ask the ref for cards, I’m sorry but in this day and age when you can’t touch a player we have to join the rest and play act, for instance the player who slid onto Wes at the end, if Wes rolls about like he’s been shot 100% that player is getting booked and then is on a tightrope for the rest of the game, Wes just acted like it was nothing… We have to get with the times unfortunately and do what everyone else does, it will win us a point here and there.

Yeah maybe not ask outright for a card but you know what I mean, should have been all over the ref for the centre half pull not long after Bash had just got a yellow for a pull.. none of our players said anything to the ref where as if you look at their players for any sort of foul and they are moaning and putting pressure on the ref. We have to start doing it.
