I thought on Sunday we saw some green shoots of recovery and a decent platform to build on. No too fussed about the cup either but that was a shocking performance against league 2 opponents.

It wasn’t as if they were in our faces from the start and played a high tempo game to take it to us. We were just dreadful from start to finish.

Second half they pressed us further up the pitch and we just couldn’t cope with it (again).

Forget that loads of changes were made, there was enough experience and supposed quality in that side to comfortably beat Fleetwood who in reality didn’t have to really try that hard.

Absolutely no creativity whatsoever aside from Donovan. Passing was woeful and how many times is a ball sent into the box with nobody there?!

I have always been a Wilder fan but if you milk the applause then you have to stand up and face the music when you are shit.

Consistent away fans are generally the most loyal but to hear them turn at the end spoke volumes for the apathy felt by what is starting to be the majority.

Pressure is on massively for the next game.

Not an important game, but that was rotten given the opposition and the team wasn't full of the u21s.

It was a perfect goal to sum up our game really. Worst thing is that we have to sit and watch it all coming for 55mins, only then for those that can do something about it, actually try and make changes. That being said, given we waited until they scored we still looked all over the place. We just panicked and threw players on into random positions instead ongoing tactical changes as the game goes on - like most other coaching teams seem to do??

Also, I am sad to to say this, we must be moving the to the end of RND. He can be steady for a bit, but when he goes down after a mistake, he really goes down and it's worse than having 10 men.

One the most impressive things is how much weight Riedewald managed to put on over the summer. I remember him as getting about it and broke things up - not sure if imagined that.
