If you are going by stats, 0 from 15 for Scotland.
Agree that the service is appalling, and its pretty pointless thumping up balls for him to flick on, because nobody runs beyond him.
However in a desperate season, McGoldrick has managed to get 2 from open play.
No disrespect to McBurnie, but just by playing him, encourages the midfield to knock it long.
Whilst options up front are limited, I'd put an extra body in Midfield, and hope Brewster comes good,

Seriously, that does not make sense at all. We have 2 of our first choice left siders out (Stevens killing himself maintaining the standard) and yet you want to allow our strikers time to take an extra touch, allow the ball to bounce off them or just not get a shot on target? Watched him for Scotland last night and he did quite well, the main problem is that he always receives the ball with his back to goal. He had one situation facing goal from around 20 yards out and rather than look for the opportunity to get a shot off, his first thought was to pass it wide. Its not just him that does its all of our strikers at the moment.

Burke looked lively when he came on. Skinned his full back 3 times in first 5 mins and got decent crosses in, but for some reason Scotland stopped giving him the ball. Much of it down to McTominay who's passing was dreadful.

McBurnie was actually interviews on Talksport a few weeks after the 1st shutdown
and they asked him about playing behind closed doors when the season re-starts.

His reply was that some players can be fantastic in training but struggle playing in front of big crowds
whilst others can do little in training but perform when there’s a crowd and there’s pressure on a game.

McBurnie said he prefers the pressure of a crowd. He said he enjoys the banter and thinks he performs better the bigger the crowd.
Many matches this season are like glorified training sessions.....maybe it’s effecting some players more than others.

Yes, he's having a tough time adjusting to the level but I believe he will get there.

Get it played into his feet in and around the area and he's an absolute bagsman

One thing I always take from that video are the number of goals from early crosses that are catching defenders either stretched or out of position. It's something we really have to improve on.

It's the service! When you look at the video it's easy to see that he thrives on getting the ball played into his path (or generally in front of him) for him to attack. See his goals against W Ham, Leicester, Chelsea and Man U for perfect examples.

The pass for his goal against Brighton was lumped at him from the back, but instead of him getting up and winning the header he dropped on to the shoulder of the defender, at which point it was knocked into his path by the Brighton CB, which allowed him to run on to it. He actually finished that one really well, slotting past a very decent PL keeper (Mat Ryan).

It's no good when the ball is coming down to him with snow on it and he's twenty yards out with his back to goal!

Personally I think he'd fit really well with the pace and penetration of Burke. I'd like to see it but I've got no badges and I'm certainly not claiming to know more than CWAK.

Looking forward to seeing the line up on Sunday whatever happens. UTB!

Also something that Bogle is noted for! Would absolutely love to see him on the bench for the Wet Sham game, to have a run at the spaces which Cresswell always leaves behind him

I'm reluctant to properly judge any player/manager/team during the fanless era because it so blatantly does affect different people/teams in different ways. However, McBurnie didn't look very good with fans either, apart from the odd game.

Either way though, if he's affected by that environment he should be out of the team, and if it's just very bad form he deserves to be out of the team. So he needs leaving out for a bit at least.

Aside from all the above I think he should be out of the team for the effect he has on the style of play anyway, but that's just my opinion. The fact he's playing badly is undisputable fact.

Swansea played with wide players - we don't play the same way, so I certainly have sympathy with him for the lack of service.
