He's just not that good. We've had our pants pulled down with him I'm afraid. If you're in any doubt listen to Carl Asaba when he's on co-coms and Cannon is on the pitch....

If we're to use the COH money, I'd like to see us take a gamble on a big mobile athletic CF but am also aware that could be One....
 
If we can get BBD flying and Donovan and maybe sign a decent number 20 I could see Cannon getting 15 plus goals up top on his own. But he's probably better with a partner up there meaning no number 10. I'm guessing he's staying now at this late stage and hopefully he kicks on if he does. He can finish but the rest of his game needs much work.

I hope you Cannon fans are right and a I'm wrong. I really do. However, if you get chance, watch him off the ball and you'll get a better understanding of why he'll never score 15+ a season unless he dramatically improves in that area...

I can’t see Cannon having 15 plus touches let alone goals

if cannon does stay and wilder continues playing 2 strikers i think one would be the best partner for him a physical type if we go 1 up top it has to be bamford
 



Even if he does go elsewhere and score loads we've seen enough of him to know he won't here. He's crap off the ball and his movement is appalling. I keep saying it. He looks busy but he's actually hiding behind defenders.
 



He was shit before we bought him. I saw a few games on TV, in which he apparently played, and he had no effect on the games at all. I was laughing at my mate because Sunderland were apparently buying him for 10m and then that backfired on me. No idea why people think he will all of a sudden turn into some natural goalscorer
