Pound for pound that's got to be one of the worst debuts ever hasn't it? Really struggled.

Hopefully with some more cohesive attacking play he can show what he's all about by finishing things off.

Tbf we created nothing for him, hes a billy sharp type needs chances... the fact we don't create chances generally is worrying but heaping tonight on him is bollocks, everyone was awful throughout the 11 RND and Gilchrist having a who can be the most wank competition this week.
Has Wilder seen the lad play before? Genuinely

Wilder really can’t pick a player when he’s got money can he. Robinson, Mcburnie, Brewster, Mousett and now seemingly Cannon.

Signed a day or two ago, thrown straight in due to lack of availability of other players.
22 year old. Here for the next few years.
Given little to no service.

Scapegoat.

Crowd booing at HT.

What a fan base.
He didn't have to start, Brewster played well the other day and should have started with Campbell for as long as he could manage. Service was poor, but Cannon's workrate was nowhere near good enough and he was easily bullied off the ball whenever he got anywhere near it.

We didn't lose because Cannon was shit, but Cannon was shit, that's not scapegoating him, just criticising a bad performance.

4 gods sake that is BS

Lack of availability of other players???What other players. Brewster was fit. He scored against Swansea but then gets dropped for someone who only signed a day or two before the match.

Classic dickhead Wilder.

Thrown in, are you sure?
Ty off the bench in the last 2 games looked fit and sharp.
Brewster arguably as fit as he's ever been for us coming off the back of a goal at Swansea.
Where do you get this thrown in nonsense from?

Mousset didn't work out in the end, but his one good year was worth the money. Cannon seems grossly overpriced and had a shit debut, doesn't mean he won't turn out well eventually if he starts to put in the required performance levels.

Agreed, and it’s pretty clear that without Hamer our midfield creativity is absolutely zero.

And if Burrows ever gets another nod from Wilder that he’s playing in midfield , then I’ll be very worried about our managers future.

Never ceases to amaze me how badly grown men lose their heads after a bad performance.

New signing a waste of money after one game and Wilder is a dickhead? Yikes.
Had more than one game to come to that conclusion

Have we added an extra 0 on his fee for a laugh? Wilders been on the sauce again hasn’t he! Never been worth 10 million in a month of Sundays!

Can’t blame Cannon, the midfield and service was non existent, I also think he’s not a 1 up front type of striker.
Absolutely. No support until Brewster and Campbell came in. Linked up, scored a goal, disallowed wrongly.

Cannon will get decent support in other games.

...I thought he was okay tbh 😂

Put himself about a lot, lot of energy and effort similar to COH

Just needs the service

We’ve got a forward line consisting of Cannon, Brewster and Moore that cost 35 million quid.

I was really surprised he started tonight, daft decision really
