I maybe wrong but i seem to recall him playing out-wide for some period with preston and not being too bad. Intruiged to see his skillset under selles.

According to the analytical sites, he played 90 mins once on the wing. Centre forward every other min in professional footy.

There's a good chance that Cannon is feeling really confident after pre-season. He's bagged a few goals, new manager bigging him up... It'd be INSANE if his own team's supporters crushed his confidence.

I also think we need another striker. I said earlier in the thread that Cannon may need to drop down a level to start scoring goals. Despite some promise in pre season, his performances so far have again been disappointing.

Unfortunately we have no depth in wide attacking areas so him and Tom Cannon are having to be used in those roles. It's quite baffling

What I would like to see for next game is a different formation. 4-3-3 clearly isn't working right now.

I think it's worth to try a 4-2-2-2. This is probably also the best way to get something out of Cannon. He's here now and he cost a lot of money, so we have to find a way to utilise him.

Two defensive midfielders (Soumare and Peck). Two attacking midfielders drifting wide (Hamer, O'Hare). And two strikers (Campbell and Cannon).
