Our American owners delivering again. I like it. Try and roll us over next time Leeds......Bitch....

2 down, at least 2 to go (Arblaster replacement and another attacking midfielder)

Absolutely zero percent chance we are getting another attacking midfielder in, in my opinion.

CM, RB and CB is the areas we'll look at improving.

Can probably just about get by without another CB if we get a RB in tho.

So CM and RB are key focuses, with JJK looking likely just needing some haggling over add-ons and upfront amount.

Leaving CM as the remaining vital missing cog.

How he'll do for you, true. But I know the player rather well

He will score you some goals to be fair but I’ll leave it to you to assess what % of ten million quid he adds to the team as a whole
Time will tell.

There are many variables at play - maybe a change of club and players has a beneficial effect, maybe taking him out of his
comfort zone works to everyone's advantage, and so on and so on. Time will tell, but what I know is that sometimes a club
has to take a punt. If it succeeds then we're in a better place, if it fails then the club will reflect and do whatever a struggling club
usually does. We've made poor acquisitions before and survived, so I think we enter into the remainder of the season and see whare it leads us.

I'm not in the fortune telling business, but what I do know is that we have new owners who appear to ambitious.
Make of that what you will.

have equal reservations on the fee. Though I’m in the mindset of if he gets us up, it’s a relatively small outlay in comparison to what we’d gain

He's their focal point and Stokes only proper striker - the fact that he only has the goals he has highlights how poor he is

Factor in that I've watched him and he can't hold the ball, can't play people in and doesn't seem to be where he needs to be most the time - I'd steer way clear

I resolutely believe he will not “get you up”. You may well go up with him, and he may even score a good number of goals. He’s a bit of a paradox because he’s just not a good enough player to make that kind of difference - he honestly doesn’t have any outstanding attributes. No pace, can’t head, unimposing, not tricky, can’t lead the line. Absolutely bang average. BUT he tends to score goals. He can make a bit of space and get a good shot off.

I guarantee that even if he scores a lot, your board will be split on whether he was a good signing because he adds very little else.

If were struggling for midfielders for tomorrow night like we were on Tuesday then lets just go 1 - 5 - 5, launch the ball forward route one at every opportunity and rip Hull a new one!!

Why do I smell Brewster 2.0 with this signing.

Seems a bit of a throw back striker in the mould of Mendonca, Sharp, Mark Robins, Micky Quinn, Adam Le Fondre. No stand out quality of pace or a target man type, but the knack of always been there to put the ball away.
These type of strikers have gone out of fashion with the pressing from the front, work rate and more technical abilities been desired.
Billy did improved his overall game immensely after turning 30 to continue playing in the top two divisions.

Tom Cannon. Sponsored by Viagra.

When you need that something extra to help you up.

Oli Burke. Sponsored by Tena Men.

Everytime you see him you piss yourself laughing.

Absolutely destroyed our championship transfer record. How much of this is new owners versus Osula money/resetting last season is hard to tell but it's hard to imagine us doing this deal unless we were confident the money is there long term!
Parachute payments. Obvious innit bruh. Ask the fans of any other Championship club and they'll tell you.

Can't say I'm overly excited about this signing for the money. Having said that, if he scores 10 goals and gets us up then that would be worthwhile. Based on very limited information + fans opinions I don't think he has what it takes for the next level so £13m seems a strong sum. As always I hope I am proved wrong, he is a good age and he does have some ability. A good striker of the ball.

I think him and Campbell could be a good combination. Campbells link up play is really good and his movement would pull defenders away from cannon to get those first time shots away. I would hope this would signal the end of Moore as our preferred starter and it would be Cannon, Campbell as our starters or main 2 rotation with Brewster and Moore to come on as Plan B, One as Plan C.

We have Campbell, Diaz, Moore and even Brewster than can play up front. We have 2 Central defenders and very thin on CM. I hope they know what they’re doing, because I’d love to have seen a new CM come in for that money

Campbell, Moore and Brewster all have fitness problems. BBD has barely played. It's a big chunk of change but hopefully stops us limping towards the playoffs with One up top.

CB and CM do need sorting pronto.

I very much doubt we’d have spent £10m with the previous owner in charge so it’s all down to the new owners for me. Big gamble for them but let’s hope it pays off.

From the point of view of this season, it’s a good deal. He’s got something of a track record in the division and we need bodies up front.

I’m not convinced he can do well at PL level because he doesn’t have the physicality to do it, but that’s a promblem for another day (hopefully).

Hoping that there is more to come for midfield and CB incomings. We need them.

On the back of that! Fox's should pay us for taking him off there hands in Wilder we have to trust.
It seems we have been monitoring him for sometime so we know what he offers and gone in for him.

We tend to be split on every player TBF. I think a strikers overall game needs to be good 😊 f he doesn't score alot of goals. If he scores plenty I don't care all that much how well he can chase a ball to the corner flag.

You’ve had three goes at gently telling us you don’t think he’s very good, I’m sure we’ve got the message. You may be right, but only saw him play in your team and from what I saw earlier in the season, Ronaldo and Messi combined would have struggled in that line up.

Billy Sharp and Keith Edwards didn’t have many of the attributes that you say Cannon lacks and they managed to score plenty, so I’ll take your sour grapes with a pinch of salt, so to speak 🙂
