Assuming that we get awarded any, but then again anyone other than Moore would give us a chanceIf we sign Cannon, at least it solves our penalty taker issue.

With all due respect this is absolute bollocks, nobody on here has the first clue how much the new owners are or aren't prepared to spend. Even the Prince was happy to spend that kind of money on the right player.Rubbish not a prayer we’re spending £7m on anybody.

If it's a obligation if we go up we absolutely would spend 7 million on a player. £7 million is only 1.4 Benie Traores in today's money
This seems like a lot of hope on your part rather than it being realistic. If he was available for a couple of million I'm sure he'd be looked at as a development option.I can’t see them wanting 7M for him. Not a prayer would they want that amount. The player himself would push for the move too.. which as we all know, drives the price down.
Not as clear cut as that according to latest Star articleNothing will happen unless Leicester "recall" Cannon by Wednesday,if they dont recall him then its game over until the summer.
Me too.Well I really hope I'm wrong and my opinion of him/his ability was wide of the mark

Not true- Danny hall says Leicester could change those parametersNothing will happen unless Leicester "recall" Cannon by Wednesday,if they dont recall him then its game over until the summer.
So was Ade AkinbiyiOsula went for 10m, and is a much more physical specimen than Cannon.
That’s more like itCannon fires a blank as Blades crash out of playoffs.![]()

… or Cannon and ball secure return to top flight for impressive Blades.I can see The Star headline now.
“Cannon fires the Blades back to the big time”.
Possibly. However, if it were a case of 7M on Cannon, or 7M on Kone.. I’d be spending it on Kone everyday of the week including Sundays. He’s a better physical specimen for what we need, and looks to be a superior player (albeit in a lower league). This seems like a lot of hope on your part rather than it being realistic. He's just signed a new contract extension so it's highly unlikely that was just a year extra I would suggest, so the club will want a significant fee.
I still this this is a summer move, if it happens, as Wilder has already said he wants players who will come straight in and I don't think Kone is a certainty right now.
I found the article,i find it a bit strange that they can extend the cut off date, they may aswell have just left it as "can be recalled at anytime during the transfer window" but that would be harsh on the club that could be left without a player in the last hour of the window.think that cutoff date is to protect the loaning club from that senario. Not true- Danny hall says Leicester could change those parameters

He’s been regularly scoring for a shit side. There’s obviously a reason wilder and owners are willing to spend a good chunk on him.As someone with an interest in data and analytics I’m scratching my head about what he offers. I’ve actually tried to compile a report that shines a light in his talent…..but I genuinely can’t without sound bat sh£t. Of course it doesn’t help that he’s playing for stoke.
This could either be an old school “something about him” success or a complete waste of money if £7 million is true. That said the new owners must have some wonga if this happens, which makes me think Southampton are asking for crazy money for BBD.
7m smacks of Nicko getting the leak from the agent/ Leicester. 5m feels fair. 7m probably true if based on add ons (4+3)As someone with an interest in data and analytics I’m scratching my head about what he offers. Father Christmas and Rudolph are at an ‘impasse’ about which route to take.I wonder if Danny Hall tells his kids (if he has any) on Christmas Eve night that Father Christmas coming with loads of presents is close....but there may be one final snag which holds up the deal (as his Missus pops out the door to go and try for the final time to get the star wars figure that the kids really wanted).
I honestly haven't seen enough of either, but there are links to these types of gambles available most seasons.Possibly. However, if it were a case of 7M on Cannon, or 7M on Kone.. Hes scoring for fun, at an arguably worse team (in terms of stoke in the championship, to Wycombe in league one).
Agree there, any players a gamble in theory, I just feel Kone has better natural attributes over Cannon. If I had a choice it’d be Kone, but I don’t have a sayI honestly haven't seen enough of either, but there are links to these types of gambles available most seasons.
The ones that turn into Ivan Toney get remembered whereas the Nick Powells are quickly forgotten.
Hopefully he is the next big success and he is on our radar, be that for now or for the summer.
