im still in the IN camp but some of these arguments for him out are quite compelling this season is over so i would give him 4 months to the end of november in the championship and if were not up there think he will have to go

I voted in as I think he is the right man in the long run.

You’ve made your decision, cast your vote, then read the opinions of others and made a quite sensible comment on them.

Are you absolutely sure you understand how this forum works ;).

Your correct he's cracked Leagues 1 and 2 in the past. But this thread is about something more recent and where we are now and the best way forward.
So the timeframe for this thread is from July 2020 to now?

We can't mention is past achievements that were within last 5 years which could be considered recent for some.

IN, IN, IN, IN, IN, I mean it isn't like we need to shackle him to the club his heart is in, but if we have too... This guy has worked wonders here, if anyone expected that we would be just walking the league to survival after last year is kidding themselves, this is the premier league and we aren't a club full of cash that can buy all the best players yet, we may never be.

What we are building is something special, with the whole club playing our way, getting the youth built to play for the future, a young squad that is clearly capable of competing at the top, but needs time to build and progress. If we go down, we go down, so be it, we can go straight back up under Wilder. We have had a lot of bad luck, the Prem is fucking shit, the game at the top has made me fall out of love with football outside of the Blades, so leaving the top flight for some fair football for a season doesn't seem too bad to me, sure refs are shit up and down and around the world, but the Prem takes it to another level.

You get absolutely nowhere chopping and changing the minute things get tough, I mean fuck imagine if Man Utd did that with Fergie 😳 who isn't to say that Wilder won't become our Fergie? After what he has done for this club in absolute rapid time, we can forgive him for having a rough time, especially when you look at the extenuating circumstances surrounding the whole season.

We have to stick with Wilder, because nobody cares as much about this club as we the fans do and Wilder is one of us.

Caring about the club isn’t the sole qualification for managing it.

21 games without a win. I’d rather have a manager that doesn’t care about the club and actually wins a game.

And I'd rather have fans who could stick with the rough times as well as the good times, but unfortunately they still exist.

What a way to show thanks to Wilder for taking a bunch of league 1 players to the Premier league in rapid time to just give up on him when the going gets tough.

I’d completely disagree with you there. No other fan base or owners would be as loyal as we have and that’s because he’s earned the right.

But when does that stop? I’m sorry but sentiment can’t last forever just because of what he’s brought the club.

He’s the best manager we’ve had in my lifetime playing the best football, but that’s in the past. The end of last season this season we’ve been shocking playing some of the worst football we’ve seen for years. We’re so bad to watch and we’ve no won a game in 21 scoring 8 goals all season?

Oh right and there is absolutely no other reason for our poor play except Wilder 🙄 fuck my life talk about perspective.

For one COVID, a very strange season with everything being disrupted literally effecting every team around the world is all Wilders fault is it?

I mean it is Wilders fault we got promoted ahead of schedule with an older squad and have had to bed new players into a system, during fucking COVID.

Fucking Wilders fault all our top targets went to other clubs for more money because Wilder will not compromise our structure and over pay, how dare he look after our club financially.

And how dare he make players underperform, it is his fault that Norwood, Fleck and others in the squad are not playing to the level we know they can, that JOC is injured basically meaning we lack all creativity we had before and lo and behold because the bastard got us promoted so quickly, we didn't have amazing depth.

Wilder is building a project here, last season was amazing, but a lot what went right for us last season, is going against us this year, you can literally see that Wilder hasn't lost this team, under him we have become one of the most exciting teams in the country, with that we will attract better talent and come back stronger. Norwich didn't lose faith with Farke and look how that is paying off. You have to be realistic, we aren't an established Premier league club like Palace, we aren't money bags like Villa, we are who we are.

I mean who the hell are we going to attract to get us out of this mess? With this squad who is used to the Wilder way.

The rest is pretty content free. “We’re building something special” - yes, the worst top flight side in history.
Only sing when we are winning fan are you I take it?

Tell you what, why don't you look up the word perspective and then get some 👌

Covid has affected everyone, as you say.

Part of Wilder’s job is motivating players like Norwood and Fleck. He did it last year. Dave Basset turned Paul Rodgers into a top flight player, so it can be done. It is Wilder’s fault, too, that we had no plan B for JOC getting crocked other than to rotate through a set of donkeys like Robinson.

The “project” thing is management speak.

You end by saying we should keep him because nobody else would take the job. What an endorsement.

I was singing when we went down in 1988, 1994, 2007, and 2013. The perspective is that we’ve spent a fair amount of dosh to produce the worst top flight side since about 1903.

I think you need to accept the word ‘opinion’ too. A forum is full of people having their own opinions.

I don’t enjoy the football I’m watching, the excuses I’m hearing and the fact we’ve not won for 7months.

I’d accept relegation if we put up a fight but this is pathetic. There’s no other manager in the whole of the football pyramid that would still have a job after not winning in 21 games, yet we’re not loyal.

And you end it without giving another option for who is going to come in and magically turn this around with what we have? It isn't a motivation problem we have, it's a lack of skill and creativity which Fleck and Norwood used to provide, something that Berge was before injury. I mean it's amazing how you just expect a CB to come in and replace everything JOC did 😂

Ahh yes because this team isn't fighting 👌 Ironic you should say I need to accept to word opinion and yet here you are challenging mine 🙄

Berge was providing “skill and creativity”?

Hello Sander.

Luckily your opinion on football means fuck all to me 😂 I don't like losing, but you know what some of you would forget where we where when Wilder took over 🙄
If you don’t like other people’s opinions on football, maybe a football message board isn’t the place for you?

I’m shocked how this poll is going. Anyone saying he should stay to get us back up fine but then what?

Still not CW fault this in my opinion, but would understand if he walked TBH.

The owner now needs to make more funds available to even try and win a few games of football to hopefully start a new rebuilding job and just two loan players is nowhere near enough to even win a game or two in my opinion, it needs at least double that amount of new players for us to win games at this level. Again, if the owner is only supporting two loan players, then what can CW do about that?

Why would a chairman give wilder any more money after the disasters he has brought in?
