Cautious, I never let my guard down where United are concerned.

Peterborough will be no mugs. They have no problem scoring goals and we have a propensity for conceding them. As far as the team is concerned we might be two-thirds there, but the defence needs to sharpen up, especially where man-marking is concerned.

A win is a win, 3 wins from games, albeit two of them against sides who will be down there near the bottom.

Is it is a time for genuine optimism, or just a little cautious optimism?

Small steps and there'll be a few blips along the way. But I believe, after near on 6 seasons, we've finally bottomed out and got a bit of balance, organisation and fight in the team.

Well done Blades. UTB

No I'm not btl...............I don't know Barney ..........my name stems from the fact I used to live in Barnet (sad but true :))

Results against against Peterboro and a flying high Scunny will give us a clue.

Personnaly I am now firmly believing my initial prediction of of a finish between 5th and 10th is accurate.

Everyone will agree it has been an indifferent start.
Looking at the table this league is without doubt there for the taking..

This is our season.....

Long way to go yet and owt can happen, but we wont do it with out that bit of luck.
So don't ever knock it, a win is a win no matter how they come.......

Think you need to lighten up Harry :)

Resonable and sensible me, never went along with the relegation certs comments of some of a few games back, not yet going with the promotion certs comments of a few after the last three weeks.

The truth as it almost always does lays somewhere in between

I suppose you could say we've beat 2 poor sides in Oxford and Wimbledon who will struggle and won with a fortunate last minute giveaway other week. But you can only beat what's put in front of you. Peterboro have won their last 2 at the Lane - I would love to turn the bastards over next Saturday.

Plus, last season, poor sides were turning us over AT HOME!!
