Leeds will get Ramsdale and relegate him again, now that's nailed on
Changing my original prediction that Leeds will get Pope (based on Leeds fans saying it at the time).

Leeds will get Ramsdale, knowing Southampton will sell him to cover any losses, as he's more PL proven and likely cheaper than Cooper (knowing we'll do everything we can to keep him).

Scott Parker takes the Spurs job (and signs Esteve for Spurs) and Dyche returns to Burnley, Trafford goes to Newcastle in a cheaper swap deal that sees Pope return to Burnley.

All reasonable until the Pope to Burnley bit. Pope would stay at Newcastle over joining the side which probably won't get 20 points next season and will likely concede 80+ goals in the process.

If Parker went to Spurs he'd take Estève and Egan-Riley with him while Trafford seems nailed on to force a move to Newcastle (rumours of a £30m release clause). That will damage Burnley more than us selling Berge and Ndiaye before last season.

Esteve Egan Riley and Trafford all leaving, could see Derby fans getting a little excited there as I'd struggle to see double figure points

Best case for us if Charlie Hughes is on our radar and he should be he should’ve been last summer is that Hull drop if they do we might have a chance at him although competition would be fierce. Also I’d find it quite cathartic to pinch a highly promising young CB off them in league one after the Maguire stuff.

Love Anel but it’s time for him to go. We need two new centre backs. Holding is more than good enough if we can get him back.

Souza - not good enough

Hamer - good enough but not fit enough or consistent enough based on his ability.

Robinson - you would want him in trenches with you for his heart and desire but not good enough.

Brewster - been discussed to death but ultimately not good enough

Davies - I think he’s good enough but clearly injury prone.

Shackleton - I get why we signed him but not good enough. The thread about his ‘suspicious police incident’ made me laugh so for that I’m glad we signed him.

Loan signings…. Mixed bag… would try to get Holding, I can genuinely see JRS either ending up in league 1 or (less likely) kicking on and being a really player.
I do agree with getting rid of Anel, as he does seemingly carry a monetary value. But for me, he gets away with murder because Robinson is in same team and catches all the flack. But to be honest he makes as many rash decisions and also makes me nervous forever putting his hands on players…Yes, I can see a place for him if we don’t get promoted and we get a calm experienced centre back at the side of him. But him and Robbo together are the classic defensive “bomb scare.”
