In the Times football supplement today Henry Winter who is IMO probably the best football reporter out there has written a short piece on our Scottish maestro Flecky.

I quote the report :-

LITTLE BIG MAN GIVES SHEFFIELD UNITED STEEL

John Fleck. “I just try my best, run about and try and win as many tackles as I can.” the Sheffield United midfielder told the Daily Record recently. 5ft 6ins of pure determination, the 28 year old Glaswegian offers so much more than that modest self appraisal. He has consistently impressed this season, increasingly with his intelligent runs into the box, and two emphatic finishes against Aston Villa. In any debate about the best free transfers from James Milner to Teemu Pukki , Fleck deserves inclusion. Since his arrival from Coventry City in 2016, his part in his clubs rise from League One is immeasurable.

Just re enforces the scale of the magic that CW and AK are working which really was shown up big style on Saturday when you compare the circa £150m set of misfits that turned up wearing Aston Villa shirts at BDTBL.

Great times to be a Blade !!!

Well we’ve sorted out ROI so now we need to sort Scotland out.

If you could plot the Wilder/Knill era and the various playing contributions to it on a graph, among the many ups, downs, comings and goings, there would be one line hovering somewhere near the top, barely fluctuating, from beginning to end, in a bright orange Irn Bru colour.

John Fleck. Legend.
