Spot on.

Think for away games now we're going to have to rein in our wingbacks.

As the old saying goes you have earn the right to attack.

That comes by being defensively solid to start with.

Spot on for me.

As Deadbat has alluded to elsewhere, not being 1-0 down within 10 mins would also be extremely preferable. Entire game plan goes out the window when you do.

Start Basham, don't be surprised when he lets you down

Start Berge, don't be surprised when he disappears again

Start Bogle and Lowe, don't be surprised if you get arse raped down the flanks

Fully expect Bash to start because he's a senior player who Hecky probably defers to, and fully expect Berge to play 90 mins again because he's our "top asset" and needs to stay in that (pound) shop window

I'd go with this to freshen things up...

Davies
Oz, Anel, Robinson, Clark, Lowe
Coulibaly Fleck McAtee
Berge
Jebbison

Davies will give the defence some much needed confidence.

Clark in at LCB so Robinson can be in the center to smash people on both sides not just the left.

Fleck is an upgraded Norwood.

Jebbo is the 3rd coming of Jesus.

I know Anel is suspended, but we're getting a points deduction for not paying any transfer fees and theres only so many points they can deduct anyway surely?

Yep that’s the same side I’d put out , played that midfield 3 at MIllwall in the cup and dominated the midfield . Ozzie & Baldock def deserve a start and our wingbacks need to know the defensive duties as well as going forward & these two offer that .. Lowes form since his return from injury has been poor & Bogle was all over the place yesterday before been subbed : Fleck is not the player he was , age / injury have caught up with him now & for me is just a bench player , Berge has been off it since his return from injury but appears immune from being dropped by Hecky ⚔️

I’d start Jeb for a bit of pace up top with N’Diaye. McBurnie if we need a battering ram towards the end. Leave Billy on the bus.

Bingo, at least the team.

Think you're hoping if Fleck is going to be supplanted by Coulibaly on the bench. But the XI, it has to be.

Keep it competitive and combative especially away and then if you need genuine game changers that might do something special, then bring Berge and Bogle etc on, but don't rely on them to build a foothold or, like Saturday, the game could be gone.

Always loved flecky but is he now like enda ,a busted flush

Just find a starting elevan that works and stick with them. Hecky needs to stop overthinking shit and swapping players in and out. Since when can a player not play two games in one week???

Hecky won’t start Doyle and McAtee together in the league.

I think he may play One of them instead of Fleck and Maybe Baldock instead Bogle.

Personally, I would be putting Clark into the back 3. If possible go with Clark, Egan, Robinson but perhaps too many players with same foot?

Hmmm … it’s a risk as we saw Clark have a mare the one time he played on the right side, but Bash was all over the shop anyway at Blackburn so maybe worth another go.

For me, whatever team he puts out I feel like we have the same conundrum - we have wing backs who are good going forward but struggle to play a LB / RB role, many, many central defenders who largely can't play as a two (maybe an assumption, but the Jokanovic era wasn't great), central/deeper midfielders who are great quarterback type players but can't play the role on their own without midfield cover alongside them for various reasons and forward players crying out for x-x-3-1. That been said, we do have some very good players who are effective on their day, which is why we are pushing for promotion. Just perhaps with smarter recruitment in past years we could be more flexible.

If we could start with 12-13 players, then we'd be absolutely champion.

Berge will find his value going down weekly if he carries on like he is
