Huge test for Nigel to keep the team focused on this game, if we were to get three points tomorrow against the circus farce thats going on around the club then it will be the result of the season so far for me, better than the win at Peterboro.

In reality our best chance of getting owt at all from the game is probably a nil nil.

Not if we attack them from the start it won't,we could rip them a new one but there's not much chance of that happening is there?

I am pretty confident,if that was the team,we would beat Donny.We'd have too much for them.I think it's fair to say though that it won't be.

Sorry mate but I don't think there are any goals in that side ....... in fact I don't know where our next goal is coming from at the moment apart from og.

Hopefully all of them up until January,that will do for me,send him back,use the money to put towards a striker and play Basham and McEveley,with McGahey,Alcock,Collins and Kennedy as back up and we'll be fine.
 
Don't often disagree Wiz, but Paddy is different league to the young, inexperienced McGahey and Kennedy and the out of it Collins.

He would certainly be in my team, along with McEveley and Basham.

It's not that we dont have the money for a striker, just that we haven't found one good enough, fit enough, that wants to play for us in Lge 1.

The thing is mate,i think McCarthy is the blame for a large proportion of the few mistakes we make,if that makes sense.I also think the players we have in the defensive aspect of the game are more than adequate for this league.If we do have the money for another striker then we have a funny way of showing it.Paddy McCarthy's wage could help enhance it further if he wasn't here.
 
Davies, Blackpool change of heart. Not disimilar to Cardiff and the Beard. COG. Brighton wouldn't release and Blackstock didn't want to come. Certainly wouldn't want him at that rate any way, even if he had a change of heart.



So I think we have tried earnestly, to get a decent striker in.
