What does the team look like first game next season??

I'd look to keep Holding nd actually play him!
Jimmy Dunne I expect will already be progressing, I'd also like us to go for Souttar and Choudhury if possible.
Blaster and Peck in the middle could be brilliant, with Tom Davies, if he can stay fit for longer than 13mins obviously!, as back up.

I love Souttar but I think signing him would be just too much of a risk

With the players we currently have (less Anel with only a year left so presumably will look to cash in and Gus moving on).

Hoping to keep Souza however I’d be happy with Hamza in to replace if he pushes for a move.

Again, I’d be over the moon if we could bring Holding in full time and Harry Darling.

Jimmy Dunne in at RB depending on how Femi fairs with fitness and injury.

Those players seem to fit a 4312 formation naturally, the onus will be on the full backs to provide the width and Arblaster and O Hare to link midfield with attack and bring the full backs into play.

Hopefully find a way to utilise Cannon, I’m sure there’s a player in there. His movement was completely out of sync this season but hopefully a formation tweak can provide a foundation to build on.

Majority of these are out of contract and would only have to reinvest in Holding/chakvetadze/Sainz. Id also look to try and move robbo, rnd & Shackleton on (if possible, if not let them gather dust as emergency back ups)

In fairness he arrived underused and unfit and then got deployed in what was far from the position he actually excelled in.

I’d take him as a centre forward option. I can see him doing well with Campbell, Cannon or Moore.

I just don’t find him a winger.

I guess it depends how much he'll cost and what wages he wants.

Lack of pace and athleticism in that side.
Also midfield too defensive Peck and Souza offer nothing going forward.
O'hare is a major downgrade on Hamer.
Seriki still have my doubts about him defensively and that's without his fitness concerns.
Even with your additions that side has less goals in it than last season.

That's my starting point, though I only added Peck as I'm not sure we'll ever see Tom Davies start and Wilder will no doubt start Peck every game, so I'm resigned to accept this.

Ideally for me I'd like to see us sign Poku, Dolan, Mepham and Dunne for starters.
