And we wonder why we went down - Cliff Calvert
Anyone know if they're planning on selling the away shirt in adult sizes without the MIDNITE sponsor?
The kids shirts are sponsor-free, I'm guessing that's because it's a gambling business.
They’re stuck in the Straits of Hormuz…Anyone know if there's going to be a line of Genocidal Zionist t shirts and apparel?
Hopefully history doesnt repeat itself with that shirtAnd we wonder why we went down - Cliff Calvert
My hunch is not. Wolves and boro also have midnite and neither website offers sponsorless optionIt'd certainly look better without it. Plus I don't want to be a walking billboard for such companies.
My shirt hasn't any marks on it ,no wonky printing it's very very good. Seems that haters hate again .who looks at all the shirts in the shop ? And when you buy you get one that's bagged and not been touchedMy hunch is not. Wolves and boro also have midnite and neither website offers sponsorless option
Shame as it'd sell in droves
Also shame as the printing has led to marking on pretty much all the shirts (checked in club shop today) plus many of them have wonky printing
So yeah, sponsorless version please![]()
I bought a Flamengo shirt when i was in Brazil a couple of years back and the shirts on the hangers in the Club shops in the mall didn't have any sponsors on them. When you pay for the shirt they applied all the sponsors, player name and numbers - if you wanted them. Most people walking around didn't have all the sponsors on their shirts. My hunch is not. Wolves and boro also have midnite and neither website offers sponsorless option

Don't buy one then simple ,mines great and worth the 65 quidTheyve literally all got a rectangle mark around the sponsor. Its more obvious on the away, but i checked homes and its same. Im not paying 65 quid for errea quality when its adidas
Pork everywhere BL.Don't buy one then simple ,mines great and worth the 65 quid
Unlike pork (and you clearly) i have standardsPork everywhere BL.
They weren’t the marks I was talking about. Some had faint red marks. Hard to spot but once you do it’s easy to see. It wasn’t on all the shirt but some and the club shop said they’re aware of it.Theyve literally all got a rectangle mark around the sponsor
Why do we contract everything out ?You will have seen by now that we have signed up with Fanatics to run the club shop.
Just a bit of information that i've found out.
I couldn't be arsed to pay £6.95 for something i needed tomorrow, so just drove down. When there the item I wanted wasn't available in my size, despite the online shop showing 6 left...
- We no longer offer a click and collect online.
- There are 2 shipping methods:
- Standard at £4.95
- Priority at £6.95
- These prices seem to be blanket pricing - i added 50 shirts to my cart and costs didn't change

I asked why we are showing 6 in stock if none are available.
The lady said that everything is operated by fanatics now and everything is drop shipped by them, so the online quantity has nothing to do with the club shop... worth baring in mind.
Finally, I asked if we were getting any long-sleeved home shirts and the reply was - "we're not sure, we haven't been told"
Thought i'd share
Well I for one look at the shirts before parting with my money. Loads had wonky sponsors, United crest not aligned properly within the sash or with the trefoil or both. And quite a few had faint red marks. My shirt hasn't any marks on it ,no wonky printing it's very very good. Seems that haters hate again .who looks at all the shirts in the shop ? When you buy one you take one from the hangers and the checkout staff give you one thats in a sealed bag so you really can't check them .mines fine ,if you look long and hard enough you will always find slight flaws in anything material.Well I for one look at the shirts before parting with my money. It’s not hating on my part, It’s more just advising people who are planning on buying one to double check the one they get.
You think it’s wrong to use a major online platform? Why do we contract everything out ?
My away shirt arrived this morning and I've not noticed any issues bar some less than great stitching on the sleeve that doesnt bother me.Well I for one look at the shirts before parting with my money. Depends on what the benefit is to the club, Adidas already take most of the shirt money, is having another corporate middleman really necessary? You think it’s wrong to use a major online platform?
While I was on there another bloke pointed out the red marks. I hadn't seen those personally but many of them definitely had wonky sponsor patch. If im gonna wear club merch I want it to look good not tinpotThey weren’t the marks I was talking about. Some had faint red marks. Hard to spot but once you do it’s easy to see. The marks you refer to - they will drop out after the first wash I’m almost certain.
I told them at the counter I wanted the one I’d chosen and not one from the box in a sealed bag. When you buy one you take one from the hangers and the checkout staff give you one thats in a sealed bag so you really can't check them .mines fine ,if you look long and hard enough you will always find slight flaws in anything material.
What did they say?I told them at the counter I wanted the one I’d chosen and not one from the box in a sealed bag.![]()
In the same way its wrong to contract out catering to a major market leader- yes.You think it’s wrong to use a major online platform?
I do when quality is compromised, as it invariably is when something is outsourced. You think it’s wrong to use a major online platform?
Outsourcing, it’s the new way…Depends on what the benefit is to the club, Adidas already take most of the shirt money, is having another corporate middleman really necessary?
