I suppose you have a point here. Surely the Prince would want to wait until the end of May at the latest when our league status is to be confirmed?

I doubt it, but they may have agreed on two different prices depending on what happens? But if they are supposed to be announcing it in two weeks that is obviously before the league season has concluded, well before the Play Offs will have even started.

This happened less than 6 months after we gave a 3 year contract to Jokanovic.

Things change, sometimes suddenly. The announcement that PA is taking a step back and we won't see much of him any more came as a surprise.

I'll believe something like this when it happens but it's not exactly out of context.

The Saudis don't like to compete against each other in business, to be honest us being up for sale wouldn't surprise me at all as Newcastle are obviously the priority so we cause a bit of a problem should of we get promoted. Just hope if we are sold it is to someone decent, Mike Ashley is still knocking around with a fist full of cash

yep I think the Prince has done a great job. Now let’s see what legacy he leaves . At the end of the day it’s who he sells us to which will define his time with us

I assume paperwork and terms of the deal I assume need to be finished. Also, most importantly proof the buyer actually has some fucking money to buy the club and fund it.

Not sure on this one but my guess would be that is PA quietly looking for an exit route after the Newcastle takeover.

I would imagine any deal would be for the whole of United World rather than just us. And I would assume that PA will probably walk out with a nice profit as well.
