CHL is a serious wind-up merchant. I doubt he believes a word he’s written. Other numpties with their agenda in mind will, though.

That said, the post is most certainly defamatory, but unless CHL has significant wealth, he’s safe enough.

I have read quite a bit about this. Lives were ruined, literally. And the protagonists took great pleasure in doing so.

Care to explain how he could possibly do that when all the loans have been converted to share capital or share premium?
 
What I like about this thread is the lack of support that Coolhand gets for his wild comments about McCabe.

Two years ago there were fans queuing up to vent their anger and such extreme unfounded accusations were voiced by a noisy majority on here with slim support for the owner, maybe 2 or 3 defending the man then.

Sums up human nature and menatlities in good and bad times.

Should we have a difficult next season just watch the pendulum swing back. It did before we won these recent 3 games in fact, even against the manager.
 



Not so sure it's a good times - bad times thing, more that the accounts were explained often enough for people to finally say, 'how do they make a football club pay?'

Including the one who said Oyston had threatened him with a shotgun? £30k in damages was only the start. Legal fees would have probably been 2/3 times as much.

CHL's comments want deleting.
 
Sean, yes that was one of the biggies.

There are others, but they need the money even more now that Valery Belokan has rinsed them so I'd better not say too much.

If KM was even remotely concerned with ridiculous and patently untrue accusations made on here ( or BM and elsewhere )a substantial minority of posters would have already been dragged through the courts by now .

True . But while the numbers are there for all to see we still get errant individuals/ pigs and the occasional wind up merchants doubting the veracity of what they see . Quite why this is is beyond me .

True . Sadly however, even during the ' good times ' there are still individuals who doubt KM's integrity both in terms of the financial machinations of running a football club and custodian of our Club.

Leave them where they are . Ridiculous comments and claims about KM's integrity need calling out for exactly what they are ...... utter shite . We all need to think very carefully about what's happening at Board level in our Club right now and recognise what KM has brought and continues to bring to our Club .

My original comment on this thread wasn't actually an attempt at a windup .

Edit : the original comment I made was designed to highlight a ridiculous comment made that questioned KM's integrity regarding the Tevez financial settlement . This claim was then used as an indication of KM's future intentions if we were promoted .

Who's taking you to court? What's the charge for highlighting ridiculous comments? Ambiguity and timewasting and/or backtracking are not crimes as far as I know. Vicarious indeed.
