As like 99.9% of others I haven't a clue what is going on and unfortunately yesterday's update was cancelled which might have shed a bit of light on the boardroom shenanigans. If the stand off carries on into pre season how will this affect things can't see either putting anything into the budget as anytime soon one of them might be on their bikes? :(

We might be in the Prem by then which might also have an effect on things :)

No idea, we haven't had an update.... and we don't know what the stand off is as nobody has said. Has there been a confirmed stand off? or fall out? or anything else except for speculation?

Absolutely no bloody idea either!!. surely they're not going to let it drag on until we know if we're gonna be playing premiership football next season??. Wilder needs the situation sorting ASAP!!!. UTB

It’d be just about right for us to get to the prem, this to still be going on, no budget to be set whatsoever and get us relegated with a record low points total.

With a minimum of £100,000,000 and 4 years parachute payments in our pockets.

Hmmmm

I'd take that ;)

And we could buy a few collecting buckets for the Save Our Pigs campaign :D

Not that it would pan out like that, EVEN IF the board are in dispute, they would not put the progress in jeopardy

It would actually be the only reason i'd want to see us promoted - Go up, win 100m and Parachutes and then secure the future of the club for years to come, whilst settling back into the Championship, finish 7th every year, but have some really good cup runs again and perhaps win the FA Cup.

Hope it’s settled before the season ends...Wilder will be looking at players now.

Ah!

The Arsene Wenger model then?

:D

A couple of seasons ago when we where flopping around division 3 ,
This was all our concern

It would be one of the reasons for me wanting us to go up as well ,
We would leave the pigs and the death trap ground even further behind ,
Put ourselves even more on the map , and secure our clubs future for almost a decade , no matter what was to happen after a season in the Premier league .
Our Club OurTeam , and our City
It would be a historic time for our club
not bad for a pub team , with only Pashun , and a team of league one nobody’s
No airs and graces bout us , what you see is what you get
Leave the delusional to there made up grandiose notions
If we go up we go up , if we don’t we don’t ( obviously)
Me I’m happy with the season we’ve had already

Only one problem with that. When we went down 10 years ago we pocketed that seasons prem money, the parachute money plus the Tevez money. In round figures that added up to about £75m and we had no trouble spunking that and ending up in L1 for 6 years. Careful what you wish for.

True, but we chased promotion with Robson...

I think McCabe has learnt his lesson about this which is why I am much happier to see him remain in charge than somebody else, it was a hard lesson too. And while ever we have wilder as manager there won't be any spunking of money after all that's his famous quote :)

The Tevez money, as I remember went to pay off loans from the McCabe family .... gone

I suspect the £100m, if we get there, will again be diluted by the same method

The Tevez money, paid in installments, was used as collateral on bank loans to fund a Chansiri-style binge to get back in the prem as Swiss has pointed out.

Is there news of another update meeting to be re-arranged?

Do you ever read the accounts ? McCabe and Princey both put 8 million in last year alone to clear the debts. McCabe is millions out of pocket ( some through his own bad decisions ) if I was him and with supporters like you I would have cleared off years ago.

Read the accounts ? Yes I do . I also read a lot of Tom Sharpes work and the similarities are striking . Both fiction and both hysterically funny .
