Ok

I stand by my observation … changes were needed earlier IMO

But who cares when we win it looks good … UTB and we March on
My reference was that you wrote "PH showing his nativity" instead of naivety!

😁

Grinding out scrappy points is what the top teams do. Could be a very important 3 points come the end of the season.

Most teams get dips in form and injuries during the average season. The successful are often those who make things happen.

Swansea had a good go last night and instead of the one point we may have earned we came away from three.

The keys are playing to the whistle, using subs wisely and taking half chances when you get them.

Never a foul, Naughton only had eyes for Brewster and not the ball, tried to obstruct him by getting across him, Brewster just skipped back across him and never touched him.
Agree having seen it back, looked a foul in real time. Ref did well not to give it

Great win for me, ground a result out of a game we could easily have lost, looking good so far. Think a few on here owe hecky an apology...... again

This incident sums up sports in a good (bad) way.

Swansea commentators (players and coachens) were complaining about the ref and that the "mistake" decided the match.

Had it been the other way around, they would have claimed the defender was trying to get in the way and no contact was made.

Not easy being a ref is it? Especially with all the diving going on.

Not seen the goal, but their manager is saying Kyle has "run across' Brewster and had his heels clipped,so why did he run across him?
He must either be trying to obstruct him or trying to be clever and con the ref by initiating contact and going down but the ref didn't buy it.

Swansea were right, there was an attempted foul in the build up..... on Brewster. as ironically Kyle Naughton knew he was being out paced so desperately tried to take 1 for the team, take a booking & failed. because nobody can say he was going for the ball that was 5 yds in front of him
when he stood in front of brewster

Not much football on the Blog today I'm afraid. But there's plenty of minute's silence, Swansea City history, "interesting" beer stats and Archeological Dig jokes.

Exactly so . Naughton put his arm and then his whole body in front of Brewster without any attempt to play the ball .

Good piece of refereeing and great pace , strength and persistence from our man .

They were getting away with fouling Brewster and McBurnie all night, then the manager is livid about this none foul on naughton which couldn't possibly not be a foul cause he "trusts" naughton.

Just been watching highlights with auto generared captions. Our goal was scored by Ray de Cadra

Great WIN @ Swansea last night. Feels extra special with the BLADES nicking it in last minute. Now thats 2 away wins on trot. Lets hope BLADES make it 3 on Saturday @ PNE
