Can we stop slagging Cov off they are going through a lot of shit. We are literally the only club that's played them this season singing pro SISY chants and I don't understand why. Its really embarrassing we sound like children.

We are pro 'SISY' because we actually support big girls blouses that cry, ya know its the new millennial thing to do, come on fellas lets get behind the SISSYS

We love you SISY we dooo, We love you SISY we dooo, We love you SISY we dooo,

OH SISY WE LOVE YOU (ya bunch of cretinous fags*)

Ur joking seriously. After the way they tried 2 ruin that game, they deserve any crap they get.Protest yes,not to the detriment of others.Who the hells SISY anyway

Let's not forget the cunts were at it with the whistles a few weeks after playing us, this time versus Bolton. Winning 2-1 at the end of 90mins some cunt blows a whistle everyone stops and Bolton equalise. Would be a bastard if that point given away hands Bolton promotion or even the league one title, fuck em let's send the bastards down Blades.

And no doubt they will be making their protests for that game. After all, it's about making their point on TV to be as visible as possible, not about the football on the pitch.

On an unrelated note, is it possible for us to relegate them?
Afraid not

They'll still have 5 games left and can finish on 47 points in theory which goes past 2 or 3 teams as things stand .

My mates a Cov fan they were really shocked how we could chant it tbh

I feel for Coventry. Their club is being run by negligent morons and it's in danger of vanishing entirely.

But the piss-take chants really weren't the end of the world given the context in which they happened.

It's fairly easy to hold these two opinions concurrently.

They didn't feel for us when they were singing 'One Carlos Tevez' en masse in 2008. .

This whole fuss put to bed in 3 quotes. Cov fans are hurting, and I know a few who are decent lads, but as a mass they were happy to take the mick when we were suffering. The chant in December was born of irritation and any of their fans getting twisted pants over it need to grow up.

I thought about that but don't you have to get into that through/doesn't it share a concourse with the family stand?

Yeah I'm sure the police can erect a series of steel barriers

Perhaps we can house them in the Showroom cinema and give them a beamback

Fuck 'em, and Lady Godiva's horse too.

Should imagine that would be quite difficult. Although a police officer friend of mine once told me of a bloke from Goldthorpe he arrested, just as he (the bloke, not the copper) was becoming amorous with a sheep that was tied to a tree in a primary school grounds in the middle of the night.

...after the fucktards tried to get the game abandoned by using whistles and invading the pitch? Yeah, we're the childish ones. Fuck them and fuck their pathetic club.

Assuming tickets have already been sold to Cov fans, does anyone actually know which part of the ground they are in? Are either upper or lower tier available to blades?

Climb on a box.

Put them on the tower over looking the pitch, and let them blow the whistles to their hearts content, then see if they try to invaded the pitch.

Keep them in the upper tier, move them over towards John Street, make it unreserved seating for them.

Give Blades fans the rest of the upper tier.

Open the lower tier for Blades.

Simple?

Of course fucking not. No doubt.

Only 390? Have we just given them half a block or summat?

If only 390 Coventry fans are turning up on Wednesday night then I would assume these would be the genuine fans supporting their club and not the moronic whistle blowing chav's when we played them last.

Our aim is to win the game and celebrate accordingly.

Coventry's woe's are Coventry's problems.

Im not usually one for petulant Childish behaviour. but to be honest fuck them very much.I *had* sympathy for them and owners like theirs really are the cancer killing football. but our game at their place was a farce and any legitimate protest was hijacked by people using the excuse of protesting to generally be a dick and disrupt a game of football for "Bants". the chants from our lot came after they set the tone.

It looks to me that;
1. You weren't at the game
2. Your understanding of the incident is taken, purely, from your Cov fan mate.

Did your mate go to the game?
Or is his opinion based on what his other mates have stated and what he has read on their fan sites?

I was there.
It was the most surreal football match I have attended.
It was a very unpleasant experience since it spoiled the game as a spectacle and an experience.
I didn't chant anything pro SISU.
I understand that there were some pro SISU chants earlier but I didn't hear them until much later after the main pitch invasion.
I can understand, in a football fan context, why the barb was given to their fans who invaded the pitch.
It was all about the Coventry fans during the match - happy for them to protest outside the game - but their protest was designed to disrupt our players.

Coventry are not the only club to fall on hard times as their league position deteriorates.
They'd moved from Highfield Road before SISU took over (why move? They couldn't fill that city centre stadium, anyway).
Coventry have traditionally been good at growing their academy talent.
Every club sells their young, up and coming academy stars if they are not in the Prem (we do).
Coventry fans abandoned their club in droves yet expected the owners to spend shit loads on building a team for them (why the devine right?).
SISU stated that they'd invest in line with income.
Coventry's income has declined as their on pitch fortunes have declined.
Therefore, less and less investment is being made.
That's the same as every other fucking club in the league!
They have to accept that their peers are Rochdale, Chesterfield, Northampton, Bury etc. That's what they don't seem to understand.
Those clubs cannot spend shitloads on players - Rochdale are constantly having to rebuild as their best players go on a Bosman at the end of a season.
Next season Cov's peers will be Wycombe, Crewe, Blackpool, Notts County & Grimsby.
Cov bigger than Blackpool?
Don't think so.

Self righteousness biting them in the Arse.
I have no sympathy for them at all.

Ha.
I'm not 2-1 Ken :)

I'm hoping for more but Mark Robbins has instilled some resilience in them since he took over

I know that . Hope it don't wind you up or you think I am a troll shark .:D 3 points will do me , even 1-0

Pressures on others , and we could start to see some funny results coming through.

Thanks for your post. Nail on head. Looking at the list of clubs that have fallen on hard times, Black pool are for me the stand outs.
