The majority of fans don’t leave on 75 minutes. The away fans certainly don’t.
Plenty do. It's not obligatory to clap the fans. I haven't been today but get to plenty away. I often leave at the final whistle win, lose or draw. It's really not that deep IMO. It's all a bit needy.

If only our manager had played in a team and culture that had a mantra of clap the fans no matter what.

Oh hang on he did. Ask Bob Booker.

The prolonged celebrations at the Sty and Leicester I had no problem eith either at all as it felt like we fostering a spirit.

All feels a bit empty and hollow when barely anyone can be arsed to give the tiniest acknowledgement to a sold out away following on Boxing Day.

No, it isn’t obligatory. But it can be a useful barometer of degree of backbone.

It really isn't. Ask the majority of travelling fans across the country.

Its been a basic acknowledgement and bit of respect for decades since players earn a decent crust and working class fans pay plenty to follow their team.

Needy ffs.

Not getting into an argument but you can see lack of backbone in performance on the pitch not from clapping the fans. The fans reaction to the inept performance at Ipswich was painful. I can understand why they didn't bother tonight.

Yeah that's the real shame. A few weeks ago it felt like we'd connected again as fans and team but they've blown all that now. Just a group that nobody will remember and fans can't wait to see the back of.

You can't trust this group to represent Sheffield United in the way we expect and it's going to be a real slog to watch until the end of the season

WoRKinG ClaSs. Jesus. Football hasn't been a a working class game for 30 years!

They hid on and off the pitch. Bags of cowardice on display.

The majority of fans i see home and away following our club are still very much so
If you go home and away you'll know how expensive it is then. Football was taken away from the working man years ago. How many people on minimum wage do you think can afford to go or afford a season ticket? Pay on the day prices are even more preventative.
